Carlton vs. Collingwood Predictions

Best Bet
We can’t put our money on Carlton to cover a spread after losing its last two games to Port Adelaide and North Melbourne. It’s not good form, but one team with good form is Collingwood, which has strung wins together.
The Magpies are the best team in the competition right now, and although West Coast gave them a scare in the opening half last week, their class was evident in the second half. They have plenty of class players who can step up when needed, and that should be enough to beat Carlton handsomely.
Covering a –27.5 start shouldn’t be too difficult for a high-powered team like Collingwood, so include them in your AFL predictions this week.

Same Game Multi
We have backed Brody Mihochek in most games this year and he rarely lets us down. The Collingwood player has 10 goals from his last five games, so he’s averaging two goals per game recently, which is why we’re backing him at 2+ goals.
Punters get $1.69 for Mihocek 2+ goals and $1.84 for Daniel McStay, who has three 2+ goal games in his last five appearances. That’s a good enough record for us to include him in our AFL picks, and the odds boosts same game multi payouts.
Under 162.5 is a tricky line, but they combined for only 109 points when meeting earlier this year, and punters should expect a low-scoring game on Friday night.

Best Value Bet
Jack Crisp is more than capable of 25+ disposals, and he showed that last week against West Coast when dropping 27.
That’s a good form guide for this game, and although he doesn’t have over 25 very often, his confidence levels should rise with his most recent performance.
Take the $5.40 odds as a value bet.
