Collingwood relied on its defence to win its opening round clash against St Kilda, and it could repeat the dose on Saturday night.
The Magpies could shut down Adelaide, which will need to shake off the rust, and we don’t have high hopes for the Crows in 2026. They could struggle to find their offensive rhythm, and Collingwood could jump all over them.
With the likes of Jamie Elliott and Daniel McStay, Collingwood has enough depth in their goal scoring department, but their strength is in the midfield. They should dominate possession and set themselves up for many chances at goal.
