Collingwood vs. GWS Predictions
—
Best Bet
Being the favourite helps Collingwood, with the favourite winning Collingwood’s last 10 matches at Marvel Stadium.
They started the year with a tough win over St Kilda before losing to Adelaide. However, despite the loss to the Crows, they should have enjoyed a bye last week, and they could capitalise on a GWS team struggling with confidence.
It started so well for GWS after beating Hawthorn 122-95 in the opening round, but after posting losses against the Bulldogs and St Kilda, things have gone pear shaped. The loss to the Bulldogs was shocking, losing 134-53, so they need to work on a lot of things.
Fresh off a bye week, Collingwood should have too many guns as they look to show why they’re still a premiership contender.

Same Game Multi
Lachie Schultz has made a good start to the year after four goals from two games, and punters get $2.45 for him to score 2+ goals. He’s keeping the Magpies in the hunt, and we’re happy to take the value odds in our AFL same game multi picks.
The odds are much shorter for Jamie Elliott to score 2+ goals. He is a $1.47 chance with AFL odds, and with 13 goals from his last five games, he should have another strong showing at Marvel Stadium.
We have under 176.5 points in our multi. GWS could struggle in the goal scoring department, as they have over the last two weeks.

Best Value Bet
Experience could come to the fore for Steele Sidebottom, who could be kept busy against GWS.
We see the GIANTS attacking the midfield and wings, which should bring Sidebottom into the game, and his disposal count could increase enough to cash the 20+ line.
He had 17 disposals last week, so we’re snapping up the $3.32 odds for him to increase that number slightly.
