Covering a –59.5 spread isn’t easy for any team, but it’s made much easier when playing the Richmond Tigers. The Tigers have only three wins in 2025, and they come off a 122-54 loss to Adelaide, so chances are they’ll lose just as heavily this week.

Following a poor defeat to Brisbane, Geelong should want to take out its frustration against Richmond. The loss ended an impressive winning run, which includes wins over Essendon, Gold Coast, and Western Bulldogs.

If Geelong is anywhere near its best, it could put up a 100-point margin on Richmond, which has recent totals of 54, 56, and 36 points. It’s awful form, and the Cats should pounce.

We predict a goal-fest for the Cats, so we’re backing Shannon Neale and Tyson Stengle to have big games. Neale is a $2.45 chance to kick three goals, and although kicking 3+ goals isn’t easy, the odds are too good to turn down.
