Geelong vs. Richmond Predictions
—
Best Bet
Covering a –59.5 spread isn’t easy for any team, but it’s made much easier when playing the Richmond Tigers. The Tigers have only three wins in 2025, and they come off a 122-54 loss to Adelaide, so chances are they’ll lose just as heavily this week.
Following a poor defeat to Brisbane, Geelong should want to take out its frustration against Richmond. The loss ended an impressive winning run, which includes wins over Essendon, Gold Coast, and Western Bulldogs.
If Geelong is anywhere near its best, it could put up a 100-point margin on Richmond, which has recent totals of 54, 56, and 36 points. It’s awful form, and the Cats should pounce.

Same Game Multi
We predict a goal-fest for the Cats, so we’re backing Shannon Neale and Tyson Stengle to have big games. Neale is a $2.45 chance to kick three goals, and although kicking 3+ goals isn’t easy, the odds are too good to turn down.
He will get plenty of set shot chances, as with Tyson Stengle, who pays $1.69 to kick 2+ goals. Those odds are generous enough to include in AFL same game multi picks, and it’s wise to include Cats players as opposed to Tigers players.
Over 176.5 requires Richmond to score around 45-55 points, but they’re capable. Our score prediction is 135-50, which is enough for the over to cash, and most of the points should come from Geelong.

Best Value Bet
Punters get value odds for Geelong 121+ points, and they should have a big number in their sights.
The Tigers have allowed 135 and 122 points in their last two games, and Geelong scored 151 points against Essendon, so it’s capable of racking up a big score.
Anything above $2 is a value price, so include Geelong 121+ points as the best value bet.
