Gold Coast vs. West Coast Predictions

Best Bet
Covering a –65.5 spread in the second week of the competition isn’t easy, but Gold Coast couldn’t have looked better last week when beating Geelong 125-69.
It was a one-sided affair against a team that made the AFL Grand Final last year, and with Geelong rating much higher than West Coast, the winning margin could be even bigger. It needs to be to cover a –65.5 line, but the SUNS are shining.
They got excellent production from the likes of Ben King, Ben Long, and a four-goal effort from Bailey Humphrey. If they have good games, they should dominate the struggling West Coast defence, which allowed Gold Coast to score 136 points (136-49) in their latest meeting.
Punters should expect a one-sided game from the outset, and it could be a long night for the underdogs.

Same Game Multi
Our AFL tips have Humphrey kicking 2+ goals. He was on the money last week with four goals against Geelong, and he should get similar opportunities against West Coast. Punters get $1.63 odds, which will boost payouts.
Ben King is always good to kick a few goals, having kicked four last week. He’s one of the premier goal scorers, and although the odds are in the shorter range at $1.54, we can’t leave him out of our AFL picks this week.
Gold Coast should put up a big total, that could come close to 130 points. That should be enough for ovr 185.5 points to cash.

Best Value Bet
King is always one of the best first goal scorer bets. He is dynamic on attack, and punters get a healthy $7.
He will have competition from his teammates, but we envision Gold Coast winning the opening throw before getting downfield and setting up King for the opening goal.
It won’t take GC long to post a goal, so it’s a quick and exciting AFL betting option.
