Hawthorn vs. Adelaide Predictions

Best Bet
Money has come for Hawthorn to win the game outright after opening at $1.90, and that’s largely based on the Hawks’ win over the Western Bulldogs last week.
We had been backing the Hawks every week, but after losing three consecutive games to Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Collingwood, it looked as though the Hawks weren’t up to beating the best in the AFL. Therefore, this is a big week for them.
It’s a statement game at home, and playing at UoT gives them a big boost. They play some of their best footy at this venue, which is why money has come for them despite Adelaide coming off tough win over the Lions.

Same Game Multi
Over 162.5 is a good line for Hawthorn vs. Adelaide, considering they combined for 182 points in their last meeting and 187 points two games ago.
That’s an excellent form guide for this game, and although bookmakers believe this will be a more defensive game, we think the offences will open in the midfield and score plenty of points on Friday night.
Looking to contribute to those points are Jack Ginnivan and Josh Rachele. Ginnivan has been electric in his last two games, kicking five goals from his last two games. Getting $2.15 for the Hawk to score twice is worth including in AFL same game multis.
Rachele has also been playing exceptionally well, including 11 goals from his last three games. He’s on fire for the Crows, and we thought he would be at much shorter odds than $1.91 to kick 2+ goals. He’s a must-include in AFL multis for Round 14.

Best Value Bet
Confidence is with Mabior Chol, who bounced back from two scoreless games with a four-goal game last week against the Bulldogs.
Chol couldn’t have been more impressive in that performance, and that confidence could spill over to this week in the form of kicking the first goal of the game.
Punters get a healthy $12.50, and although they’re not easy bets to cash, the odds make them worthwhile.
