North Melbourne vs. Collingwood Predictions
—
Best Bet
When North Melbourne and Collingwood met in 2024, Collingwood won by only one point in a 119-118 game. That coupled with North Melbourne’s win over Richmond last week, is why we’re taking the Kangaroos to cover the +34.5 spread.
It was good to see North Melbourne back to its best, and its draw against Brisbane was arguably a much better performance. Scoring a 71-71 tie against the defending premiers isn’t the usual for North Melbourne, so it’s a confident team.
Collingwood leads the comp with eight wins and two losses. However, they defeated Adelaide by only 10 points last week and Fremantle by 14 points the week before. Covering a –34.5 spread isn’t easy, so take North Melbourne to keep it close on Saturday night.

Same Game Multi
Over 175.5 points almost went as our best bet. They scored 237 points in their 2024 meeting, and although we don’t expect that level of scoring, it should be an open contest with plenty of goals scored.
It hasn’t been easy for North Melbourne to score big totals, but Collingwood has scored over 100 points in two of its last five games, and the points seem to flow when these teams meet.
Cameron Zurhaar scored four goals last week against Richmond. He has 10 goals from his last four games, and getting $2.40 for 2+ goals is much better than expected. We priced him around $1.94, so include him in same game multis.
Jamie Elliot is at much shorter odds to score two or more goals. He is a $1.37 chance despite kicking only one last week, but that followed a six-goal performance. Include him in picks to boost payouts.

Best Value Bet
Jack Crisp isn’t always the most consistent player for Collingwood, but he has a 25+ disposal game recently, and he could have another.
He had 29 disposals against Fremantle, and although he followed it up with only 16 last week, he should get plenty of chances to clear the ball against North Melbourne.
He’s a good value pick at $5.50.
