Port Adelaide vs. North Melbourne Predictions

Best Bet

Port Adelaide –37.5 @ $1.90

We expect Port Adelaide to post a big win over North Melbourne, which has been the case in their most recent meetings.

The Power have beaten the Kangaroos by 59, 70, and 69 points in their last three meetings, so getting a –37.5 line is generous. Bookmakers keep giving North Melbourne too much credit, especially after suffering big losses to the Swans, SUNS, and Blues.

They might have beaten Melbourne earlier this season, but that was a Melbourne team going through some mental battles, and their form since has been terrible. Therefore, Port Adelaide should have no problem covering the spread.

We would have been prepared to take them at around –44.5, so jump on the current line before money comes for them throughout the week.

Same Game Multi

Port Adelaide –37.5, Mitch Georgiades 3+ Goals, Sam Powell-Pepper 2+ Goals, Total Match Points Over 182.5 @ $4.75

Our Port Adelaide vs. North Melbourne same game multi includes Port Adelaide –37.5 and over 182.5 points. We expect the Power to put up a big total, and they could score around 130 points, with North Melbourne scoring around 60.

Spearheading Port’s attack is Mitch Georgiades, who has scored three goals in three consecutive games. He is a $1.75 chance to score three goals, and given how poor North Melbourne’s defence is, he should have little trouble getting inside 50s and converted them to goals.

We also like Sam Powell-Pepper to score twice. He comes off consecutive games with 2+ goals, and he should take advantage of the situation. We predict a goal fest from Port Adelaide, and Powell-Pepper could cash in. He’s at $1.50 to score twice, which is worth including in multis.

Best Value Bet

Jason Horne-Francis 25+ Disposals @ $2.20

We have loved the work from Jason Horne-Francis recently, having posted disposal totals of 28, 29, and 20 from his last three games.

Despite Zak Butters and Connor Rozee headlining the disposals market, we predict Horne-Francis to have a big game for the Power.

Getting $2.20 is a good price with AFL odds.
