Port Adelaide vs. West Coast Predictions
—
Best Bet
Port Adelaide didn’t fire in Round 1 when losing to North Melbourne, but the Power got back to their winning ways with a smashing of Essendon.
The 133-70 scoreline flattered Essendon as it was a one-sided game from the outset, and now they eye another easy win over West Coast. The Eagles scored a good win over the Kangaroos last week, but they are 0-14 in their last 14 road games.
That doesn’t bode well, and we can’t remember the last time West Coast won back-to-back games. That alone should be enough for Port Adelaide to score an easy win, and the current AFL spread is –28.5 for a reason.

Same Game Multi
Ollie Wines had only 17 disposals last week, but he should be more active on Sunday. He had 25+ disposals in his previous four games, so AFL stats suggest he’ll get back to that form. The $1.83 odds are worth including in AFL same game multi tips.
Mitch Georgiades is Port’s best scoring option. He has five goals from two games, and his numbers usually improve with a couple of games under his belt. He is a $1.54 hope to score 3+ goals, which boosts payouts.
Defence could take a day off for the Power and Eagles, so we have the game going over 190.5 points, which is one of the bigger totals of the week.

Best Value Bet
Wines had nine marks against Essendon, and the 31-year-old could have another big game for Port Adelaide.
The Power could use short kicks to work their way around the field, and his mark count could skyrocket as a result. The nine-mark game was an anomaly, but given the odds, he’s worth backing as an AFL value bet.
Port Adelaide doesn’t mind slowing down the tempo in the early stages with uncontested marks, and that’s where Wines could come into his own.
