St Kilda vs. Brisbane Predictions
—
Best Bet
It hasn’t been the start the defending champions were after, but despite being 0-2, the Lions are ready to roar against St Kilda.
They lost to the Western Bulldogs in the opening round 111-106 before losing heavily to Sydney, but this game is more up their alley. They face a St Kilda team coming off a win over GWS, but if Brisbane turns up with something close to their best, they should put the Saints away.
It can often take a couple of games to shake off the Grand Final rust, and Brisbane has had a tough schedule. They should fancy themselves of beating St Kilda, despite playing on the road, and the –13.5 line might only last another 24 hours.
Include Brisbane –13.5 in AFL predictions this week.

Same Game Multi
The Lions should do most of the scoring, and they’re spearheaded by Logan Morris and Kai Lohmann.
Morris kicked three goals against the Swans, and although it came in a losing effort, kicking three against a strong team bodes well for his chance against St Kilda. The $1.61 odds are worth including in St Kilda vs. Brisbane same game multi picks.
Punters get better odds for Lohmann, who has nine goals from his last five games. He kicked only one in his most recent game, but he started the season with two goals against the Bulldogs. The $1.97 odds give the multi bet a nice boost.
Brisbane could score 110+ points, which should be enough to cash the over. We’re happy to include over 185.5 in our AFL picks.

Best Value Bet
We aren’t writing off St Kilda, especially after we backed them to beat GWS last week. However, if the 2025 edition of Brisbane turns up, St Kilda could be in for a long afternoon.
The Lions won 118-73 in their last meeting, which followed a 124-39 victory in 2024. It has been a one-sided rivalry, and it could continue with another comfortable win for Brisbane, so the $3.70 odds for a 40+ point win are too good to pass up.
