2025/26 UEFA Champions League Last 16, 2nd Leg Predictions
—
Sporting Lisbon ($1.60)
Bodo/Glimt ($5.00)
Draw ($5.00)
Aggregate Score: 0-3
Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt continue to defy the odds in the Champions League and their 3-0 home win over Sporting Lisbon was arguably their best performance in the competition so far. They know they go to the Portuguese capital with a big lead to defend and they will be eager to do that here. For the hosts Sporting, winning the game will be their key objective, for which they look decent value to do so but whether they can turn over a three goal deficit, remains to be seen.
Sporting Lisbon to win 3-1
—
Arsenal ($1.30)
Bayer Leverkusen ($11.50)
Draw ($6.00)
Aggregate Score: 1-1
Having made huge strides in the Premier League title race over the past week, Arsenal will now be looking towards the Champions League. They were made to work for a draw in Germany last week against Bayer Leverkusen and know they are in for a tough time against them again this time around. Leverkusen troubled the Gunners and were left to feel a bit aggrieved and not holding a first leg lead and that could cost them here, with Arsenal ready to put them to the sword in front of their home fans.
Arsenal to win 2-0
—
Chelsea ($2.10)
PSG ($3.15)
Draw ($4.00)
Aggregate Score: 2-5
Holders PSG showed their class against Chelsea last week, as they cruised to a 5-2 home win and they will be looking to cling onto that advantage here in West London. Chelsea looked threatening in Paris, but defensive issues arose once again, and they look a little lost currently under Liam Rosenior. PSG meanwhile are coming good when it matters once again in the Champions League and they may navigate a draw here, easing them through to the quarter finals.
1-1 Draw
—
Manchester City ($1.55)
Real Madrid ($5.50)
Draw ($5.60)
Aggregate Score: 0-3
It has been a catastrophic ten days or so for Manchester City and things won’t get any easier here, as they host Real Madrid once more. City were shellshocked in the Spanish capital last week, with Madrid catching them cold and now holding a three-goal advantage in the tie. Pep Guardiola’s side will play all the football once again and will push hard at the Etihad but Real just appear to have the mental edge over City currently and they will make serene progress to the last eight here.
Real Madrid to win 3-2
—
Barcelona ($1.60)
Newcastle United ($5.60)
Draw ($4.80)
Aggregate Score: 1-1
Barcelona showed their mettle once again last week, to earn a draw against Newcastle in the dying embers and they will be confident of finishing the job here at the Nou Camp. Barca were under the cosh for large periods in the North East but pinched a late draw and all the momentum is with them ahead of the second leg. Newcastle won’t go down without a fight and are dangerous, but a home win feels inevitable here.
Barcelona to win 3-1
—
Liverpool ($1.30)
Galatasaray ($11.00)
Draw ($6.50)
Aggregate Score: 0-1
Having picked up a tight 1-0 win over Liverpool last week, Galatasaray head to Merseyside with a lead to defend. The Turkish giants have beaten the reds twice this season, but Anfield will provide a much sterner environment here. Liverpool faltered again in the Premier League, dropping home points against Tottenham and all does not seem well for Arne Slot and his men. However, they tend to rise to the occasion on nights like this and a home win feels locked in.
Liverpool to win 3-1
—
Bayern Munich ($1.30)
Atalanta ($9.50)
Draw ($6.80)
Aggregate Score: 6-1
The tie that looks to be sewn up already is Bayern Munich vs Atalanta, with the Germans having put on an absolute clinic in Bergamo last week. Vincent Kompany’s side are emerging as one of the most dangerous in Europe and they are sneaking under the radar somewhat in the Champions League. Atalanta have absolutely nothing to lose here, having been outclassed in the first leg but Bayern should win at home, even if they shuffle the pack.
Bayern Munich to win 2-1
—
Tottenham ($2.60)
Atletico Madrid ($2.60)
Draw ($3.90)
Aggregate Score: 2-5
Following on from one of the most remarkable games in recent Champions League history, Tottenham and Atletico Madrid meet again this week, with Spurs seriously behind the eight ball. The hosts are now focusing on Premier League survival, but they did pick up a point at Liverpool at the weekend. Atletico know that barring a complete meltdown, they are through to the quarter finals and may take their foot off the gas as a result. Spurs could win this leg, but Atletico look well placed to progress.
Tottenham to win 2-1
