We have expert betting tips for Scottish Open this week, which features the world’s best players from the PGA and DP World Tour.
With The Open Championship playing next week, it’s the last chance for the likes of Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy to fine-tune their game.
Scottish Open Tips & Predictions

Best Bet
Looking to overcome the disappointment of choking away his first PGA Tour win is Tommy Fleetwood, who plays much better golf in Europe.
He has yet to win on the PGA Tour, but he’s a prolific winner in Europe, and he’s good enough to beat Scheffler, who has yet to win outside of the U.S. Advantage goes to Fleetwood, who owns seven DP World Tour wins, including the 2024 Dubai Invitational.
His game is best suited to playing in Europe, and although he’s paying $20, he’s on the third line of betting. There is enough market confidence to put him on top with Scottish Open picks.

Next Best
Another player suited to playing in Europe is Xander Schauffele, who won The Open Championship last year. He’s hoping to defend his title next week, but first he would love to bounce back to form with a Scottish Open win.
He didn’t play well at the Travelers Championship when finishing T61 after shooting +5 in the final round. He’s much better than that, and considering he won two majors last year, his return to form is only a matter of time.
His injury didn’t help, but with a handful of tournaments under his belt, we’re picking Schauffele to get back to his best at $25.

Best Value Bet
Justin Thomas is still one of the top-ranked players in the world despite not being as dominant as he used to be on the PGA Tour. However, he has returned to form, and he should be near the top of the leaderboard at the Scottish Open.
The 32-year-old finished T9 at the Travelers, and he ended a three-year winless spell when taking out the 2025 RBC Heritage. He didn’t beat an overly tough field on that occasion, but it was good to see him back to his best.
A big win at the Scottish Open isn’t beyond Thomas, so take the $33 odds.

Best Roughie
Punters get value odds for Kiwi Ryan Fox, who is already a two-time winner on the PGA Tour this year.
We didn’t think we would be saying that, but with the PGA Tour fields weakened with the LIV players missing, it has allowed players like Fox to take advantage and cash in.
Given his experience playing on the DP World Tour and his recent form, the $51 odds are too juicy to pass up. He should be around the top of the leaderboard at some point, and we’re hoping it’s on Monday morning.

Top 20
Aaron Rai is an underrated golfer, and he’s another playing with loads of experience playing in Europe.
The PGA Tour player is one of the best-ranked players in the tournament, and his form in 2025, despite being mixed, is good enough to take notice of.
The Englishman handles tough conditions better than most, so take the $3.10 for a top 20 finish at the Scottish Open.
