The Meadows racing tips

Sweet Jordie won well on debut before finishing last, but it was good seeing her bounce back with a victory last time out.
The one-year-old daughter of My Redeemer won by three lengths as a $2.50 favourite last start, and punters should expect similar odds.
If she can cross the inside dogs, she could kick away for a big win.
Stake: 2 Units
In excellent form is Echoes of Dad, who made it 11 wins from 29 starts when winning at Angle Park last time out.
He is having his first start at The Meadows, but given his recent form, we don’t see that being a problem for the son of Tommy Shelby.
It’s not an easy field, but if he picks the jump, he should run away from them.
Stake: 2.5 Units
This is a red-hot field worthy of Group 1 racing. It features the likes of Paw Petrov, Paw Osland, and Sharapova Star, but we’ve landed on Barefoot Zulu.
The three-year-old is enjoying his work this season after posting five wins from his last six starts, and drawing wide is a bonus.
He’s unbeaten at the track and distance, and he owns a 29.40, which is clearly best.
Stake: 3 Units
Blue Labubu comes off a Group 1 performance, and although she finished sixth, just making the field is an achievement.
She is an 11-time winner from 21 starts, so the wins are on the board, and she could put this field away from a middle draw.
Anything around $2.40 is a good price from bookmakers.

Wentworth Park racing tips

Maura Figgis has hit a purple patch of form after posting five consecutive wins, including a dominant win at Richmond last start.
The two-year-old daughter of Superior Panama is a 19-time winner overall, and although yet to win in three attempts at Wenty, she could turn that form around.
It’s a hot field to open the card, but she’s right there with them.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Coming off a Group 1 second placing last week is good form, so Freight Express must go on top.
The two-year-old looked to have the race won before Ritza Tears ran him down, but it was an excellent performance.
He has 13 wins from 25 starts, so the record speaks for itself.
Stake: 3.5 Units
Vodka and Ice couldn’t have been more impressive when winning by 10.5 lengths last start, and he’s our top pick to win this race.
There is more depth to this field, but the nine-time winner should get all favours off the inside trap, which sets him up to win.
He’s worth including in multis at the odds.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Blazing Force caused a big upset at long odds last start, and it was a fine return to racing.
The three-year-old son of Feral Franky owns 14 wins from 28 starts, so he’s batting at 50%, making him a big winning chance.
He should be right in the mix on Saturday nigtht.
Stake: 1 Unit
