Wentworth Park racing tips

Coming off a stylish Group 1 win is Mepunga Lara, who took her record to 16 wins and seven placings from 36 starts.
The two-year-old daughter of Hooked on Scotch has yet to race at the track and distance, but after scoring at Cannington at the top level, her form bodes well for this race.
Take the $1.85 odds before money comes for her on race night.

Off the Chart was too good for them when taking out a Group 2 race last week, and he had to pull out all the stops late to hold off Gold Force.
His trap speed is a big asset, and although a middle draw isn’t ideal, if he finds the front, he could kick away for a heat win.
There is more depth to this field, but with 12 wins from 20 starts, he can measure up.
Stake: 1 Unit
Gold Force had no early luck when running second behind Off the Chart, but his effort to run second was incredible.
The three-year-old son of Aussie Infrared owns 16 wins from 26 starts, including two wins at the track and distance, which is a key statistic.
He has elite speed to his inside, but he only needs to be close down the back straight to get past them.
Stake: 2 Units
We’re sticking with the runners who ran well last week, including Consigliere. He won a Group 3 at Wentworth Park from the widest trap, and he doesn’t mind drawing low.
The two-year-old son of Bernardo owns 10 wins and four placings from 21 starts, and he’s a genuine contender for the Golden Easter Egg.
If he crossed the inside dog, they shouldn’t catch him.

Q1 Lakeside racing tips
—
Gunning for three consecutive wins is Tommy Knuckles, who is good enough to upset the short favourite.
The one-year-old son of Aston Rupee won by 7.25 lengths in a blistering win last start and drawing inside Hara’s Neo helps.
If he beats her out, the $5.50 odds will look like good value.
Stake: 1 Unit
Punters get each-way odds for Hara’s Otis, who looked good when scoring over a shorter distance last time out.
The two-year-old son of Fernando Bale has yet to win at the track and distance from three attempts, but he has been close with two placings.
The inside dog is the $1.50 favourite, but he could cause an upset.
Stake: 1 Unit
Winning form is with Gold Alaska, who owns six wins from 11 starts, including her last two impressively.
She won her last two starts by a combined seven lengths, and that form is good enough to make her the $1.80 favourite in this heat.
Look for her to ping the lids and never be headed on Saturday night.
Stake: 3 Units
Dream Catch has only five runs under his belt, but he won by 3.5 lengths last time out, which is a good form guide.
The two-year-old son of Aston Rupee should make full use of the inside draw, and he could sit handy to the pace and kick strongly.
We’re not leaving him out of our picks at the price.
