Sandown Park racing tips

Race 2. (19:19) Launching Pad Dining Packages on Sale (515m)

#1 – House of Sins

House of Sins looked good when winning his first two starts, and he could bounce back from his last-start effort.

The two-year-old son of Bernardo finished fifth as a $3 chance, but having experience at Sandown Park should help.

Getting the rails draw is another positive.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 4. (19:58) Hole in One Comp 2 April (715m)

#8 – Charlestown

Shooting for three consecutive wins is Charlestown, who scored at The Meadows two back before winning at Sandown Park last start.

The two-year-old son of Zambora Brockie is an eight-time winner overall, and rising in distance has worked out well for his career.

Getting the outside draw gives him room to move and launch down the back straight.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 7. (21:01) Hooked on Scotch at Stud (515m)

#7 – Prison Break

Prison Break is on the verge of scoring a win after posting placings at The Meadows and Sandown Park, which is good form.

The three-year-old son of Allen Deed owns 10 wins and 15 placings from 43 starts, and his best time of 29.46 is quick.

Punters should get each-way odds, so include him in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 8. (21:25) Aston Rupee at Stud (515m)

#7 – Gambella

Shooting for three consecutive wins is Gambella, who has an excellent track and distance record.

The three-year-old daughter of Fernando Bale owns five wins and three placings from 10 starts at the track and distance, which is an excellent record.

She gets a good run from out wide, and she could put them away.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Wentworth Park racing tips

Race 2. (19:10) Wentworth Park Sports Bar Heat 2 (520m)

#1 – She’s Mayhem

Looking to make an early impression is She’s Mayhem, who is bred to be much better than average.

The daughter of Fernando Bale gets all favours off the inside draw, which is ideal for a debutante, and kicking off over 520m should also assist.

Look for a strong betting push on race night.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 5. (20:10) Wentworth Park Greyhounds 200 Points (520m)

#2 – Brax Keeping

Courtney Barnes lines up Brax Keeping, who won well three starts ago at Wentworth Park, and he hasn’t been far away since.

The two-year-old has a good record at the track and distance with 15 starts for two wins and six placings, so she should run well.

Bookmakers should offer punters each-way odds on race night.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (20:28) Get Trackside Thu & Sat Nights (520m)

#3 – Canya Handle It

Canya Handle It is handling things well after posting three consecutive wins, and we’re backing him to score again.

The son of Wow is a seven-time winner overall, and he’s unbeaten in two starts at the track and distance, which bodes well.

He is worth including in greyhound multi bets.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 8. (21.10) PBD Where Else but Wenty 1-2 Win (520m)

#3 – Extreme Machine

Extreme Machine owns two wins and four placings from nine starts, with his wins coming at his last two starts.

The one-year-old son of Tommy Shelby won by 8.75 lengths last time out, which was an emphatic performance.

He has more wins in store this season.

Stake: 4 Units
