Sandown Park racing tips

Race 2. (19:19) Happy Birthday Gaz (515m)

#7 – Zipping Windsor

Looking to cap off consistent form with a win is Zipping Windsor, who has rattled off six consecutive placings.

The two-year-old son of El Grand Senor has been running at generous odds, but we expect his odds to shorten for this race.

He’s a consistent type who deserves a change in fortune.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (20:19) Hole in One Comp April 2 (515m)

#8 – More than Words

More than Words showed good form earlier this preparation with three consecutive wins, and that form could return to the track.

The two-year-old daughter of Fernando Bale owns five wins and seven placings from 21 starts, and she could win her first start at the track and distance.

It’s an even field, so punters might be value odds.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 6. (20:40) Launching Pad Qualifier 1-4 Wins (515m)

#5 – Highly Potent

Highly Potent faces her toughest test to date, but after posting three wins from four starts, she can’t be overlooked.

She won by 1.5 lengths last time out, and the field wasn’t too dissimilar to what she faces here, and she could explode at box rise.

She needs to from the middle trap, but she could lead throughout.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 8. (21:25) Greyhound Entertainment (515m)

#1 – General Franky

Looking to take advantage of the inside draw is General Franky, who owns six wins and eight placings from 14 starts.

The one-year-old son of Fernando Bale is bred to be handy, and he is off to an excellent start at a young age.

His best time of 29.29 is quick enough to put this field away.

Stake: 3 Units

Wentworth Park racing tips

Race 2. (19:10) Wentworth Park Sports Bar (520m)

#2 – Zeal Beauty

Zeal Beauty got back to winning form at Nowra last time out, scoring by a whopping 13.5 lengths as a $1.55 favourite.

The one-year-old daughter of Tommy Shelby is a nice type in the making after posting three wins from six starts, so the record speaks for itself.

We expect shortening odds on race night, so take the opening odds.

Stake: 3 Units

Race 4. (19:49) PBD Farrell’s 1 Win (520m)

#4 – Zipping Lumiere

Jason Magri lines up Zipping Lumiere, who scored at Richmond earlier this prep before running solid races in defeat.

The one-year-old son of Zipping Kyrgios owns a win and four placings from six starts, and he could sprint best down the back straight.

Punters could get each-way odds, so include him as a value pick.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 6. (20:28) Value Bruce Fletcher (520m)

#3 – Entertainer

Entertainer has entertained punters with six wins and four placings from 14 starts, including three wins at the track and distance.

The one-year-old son of Shima Shine missed the jump last start against a hot field, and it cost him the race. However, if he lands on the arm, he should put this field away.

He’s worth including in greyhound multi picks.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 7. (20.49) Follow RPV on Facebook (520m)

#3 – Canya Handle It

Gunning for four consecutive wins is Canya Handle It, who got the better of Entertainer last time out.

The son of Wow has an excellent record of 18 starts for seven wins and six placings, so he doesn’t miss all that often.

He’s unbeaten at the track and distance, and we expect a winning performance.

Stake: 3 Units
