Debutants are hard to predict, but he looms as a winning hope.

On the Prowl hasn’t won or placed in two starts, but we’re prepared to stick with the three-year-old.
The son of Peltzer finished fourth on debut before running fifth at odds last time out, and with that experience, he should be right in the thick of the action.

Looking to get back to winning form is Tears are Flowing, who won on debut at Geelong before battling to the line last time out.
The four-year-old mare by Epaulette will need to carry 61kg to victory, but she comes from a stable that knows how to train tough types.

Shooting for consecutive wins is Touchdown, who resumed with a comfortable win at Sale as a $1.16 chance.
Punters get better odds this time around for the four-year-old, who has come up with a wide draw, but he owns a nice turn-of-foot.

All Pink opened as the $2.90 favourite before drifting, but we’re happy to back her based on the early support.
The three-year-old filly won fresh up at Terang last prep before rising in class at The Valley and Gold Coast.
She won a jumpout at Cranbourne, which is always a good betting guide.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Each-way odds are with Thunder Award, who has been threatening to win a race this prep, and he doesn’t get a better chance now.
The five-year-old son of Shamus Award didn’t have all favours at Geelong last start, so punters should forget he went around.
If he gets luck from out wide, so he should go close.
