The Daniel Morton-trained filly had good betting support when running a half-length behind Flying Frankie, which should be a good form guide.

Having William Pike riding helps, so she goes on top.

Winning form is with Prospector’s Pick, who won at Ascot fresh up before winning again at Pinjarra last start.

The four-year-old son of Snippetson scored by only a nose last start, but it was a tough effort, and he’ll only improve from it.

Pike sticks with him, which is a good sign.

Punters should get value odds for Royal Gap, who has been threatening to get back to winning form this preparation.

The six-year-old placed in his first two starts this campaign, including two back at Belmont, and he wasn’t far away at Pinjarra.

It’s an even field, but we’re hoping for something around $7.50.

Seeking consecutive wins is Dun with the Blues, who won at Pinjarra fresh up by a nose as a $7 chance.

The five-year-old mare by Dundeel is bred to win more races, so rising in distance is ideal, and she won her only start over the mile.

It’s another good ride for Pike, so include her in picks.

Sure Thing is gunning for three consecutive wins, and although he’s not a sure thing, he is good enough to beat this field.

The four-year-old son of Akeed Mofeed owns five wins and five placings from 18 starts, so his overall record is solid.

Getting the inside draw is ideal, and he could enjoy racing somewhere other than Kalgoorlie.

Running well this preparation is Simply Thinkin’, who capped off good form with a win at Northam last start.

The four-year-old daughter of So You Think has yet to finish worse than second from two starts at Bunbury, and having track experience is ideal.

We expect her to be right around the mark on Saturday.

Class is with Storyville, who despite not running well at her last two starts, is good enough to put this field away with ease.

The three-year-old filly by Overshare won four of her first seven starts, and she was beating some quality fields in Perth.

Pike rides, and the odds are fair given her ability.

Stake: 3 Units

Boasting two second-up wins is Royal Tornado, who has yet to race at Bunbury, but it’s a track he should enjoy on Saturday.

He owns five wins and five placings overall, and despite running only seventh fresh up at Pinjarra, he always improves with the run under his belt.

It’s another premium ride for Pike, who could have a big day.
