Seeking three wins on the bounce is Golden Century, who ran in the NZ Derby before coming to Australia for Chris Waller.
It took him a few runs to show his best form, but after scoring wins at Canterbury and Kembla Grange, he could kick on with it.
Rising to 2400m is right up his alley, so take the odds.

Regal Award was scratched from the Caulfield Guineas on Saturday, and this is a much easier midweek target.
The three-year-old son of Ole Kirk won at Sandown two back before finishing fourth in a tidy form race behind Navy Pilot.
If he gets cover from a tricky draw, he could finish over the top of them.

Surfin’ Bird could be a nice type in the making after scoring at Geelong before showing toughness to win at Sandown last time out.
The four-year-old comes from the Waterhouse/Bott stable, and they know how to take their runners through the grades at the midweeks.
Blake Shinn rides, so expect a forward position from the wide draw.

On debut for Ciaron Maher is Rudolfina, who is well-bred by Blue Point, and she could make a winning start on Wednesday.
She has looked solid at the jumpouts, and the Godolphin two-year-old runners don’t often miss in races like this.
Look for a betting push on race day, and it’s likely to come.

Just Like Gaby didn’t go under our radar when winning at Sandown, and we’re happy to include her in our picks again.
The four-year-old mare by Pierata has good speed, and we think she’s better than midweek level, so the $3.80 is a good price.
Include her in picks, especially at the weights.

It’s not an easy field, but Makdane should be right in the thick of the finish as a consistent type.
The Michael Kent-trained gelding is always around the mark with 16 starts for four wins and nine placings, including a two-length win at Caulfield two back.
Craig Williams rides off the inside draw, which adds to our confidence.

Class is with Statuario, who finished a game fourth behind Caulfield Cup favourite Half Yours last start at Caulfield.
The four-year-old might only be a three-time winner from 14 starts, but he has more upside than most in this field, and he deserves to be well-backed.
His third-up form reads well, so everything points towards a good showing.
Stake: 3 Units
Sunshineinmypocket hit the line with purpose when running second behind Charcoals last start, which followed a quality win at Caulfield.
The five-year-old already has five wins from only nine starts, and two of those wins have come over this distance, so the stats are hard to overlook.
He gets the inside draw with 2kg coming off, so there won’t be any excuses.
