Coolmore Classic Tips for Trifecta
Punters should have five runners on their ticket for the Coolmore Classic trifecta. We recommend taking a boxed percentage trifecta. Spend what you want, and the payouts can be massive.
- Lazzura
- Savvy Hallie
- Arctic Glamour
- Ole Dancer
- Cinsault

Coolmore Classic First-Four Tips
We have included seven runners for our Coolmore Classic first-four. Boxing all seven selections for a percentage can still result in a huge payout, and you spend what you want.

- Savvy Hallie
- Arctic Glamour
- Ole Dancer
- Cinsault
- Manaal
- Verona Rose

Coolmore Classic Form Guide & Tips
(1) Lazzura (Best Bet – $4.80)
Class is with Lazzura, and although she loomed to win before finding Cinsault better last start, she will only improve with the run under her belt.
She has yet to finish worse than second in three attempts at Rosehill, and James McDonald can’t do anything wrong this season.
The $4.80 odds are worth taking as a best bet.
(2) Manaal ($9.50)
She went close when running second behind Verona Rose last start. We don’t think that’s the best form guide for this race, but she should still be included in first four picks.
We wouldn’t be surprised to see money come for her on race day.
(3) Vivy Air ($35.00)
This is a tough fresh up race, and we can’t see her doing enough to figure in the finish.
(4) Verona Rose ($9.50)
She showed her best form when beating Manaal in the Guy Walter Stakes. There are better form guides, but we’re not discrediting the win.
Having Craig Williams riding helps, and she is a potential first four inclusion.
(5) Arctic Glamour (Best Roughie – $14.00)
Her sectionals in the Guy Walter were excellent, and she could be the forgotten runner in the field.
She is a nice type on her day, and although she can run the odd bad race, her Rosehill record consists of six starts for two wins and three placings.
Include her in picks at double-figure odds.
(6) Ole Dancer ($6.50)
Her two runs back from a spell have been good without winning, and she chased gamely behind Tempted and Savvy Hallie last start.
That’s the best form guide for the Coolmore Classic, and she only narrowly missed out on being our best each-way pick.
(7) Savvy Hallie (Best Each Way – $4.80)
The three-year-old filly couldn’t have been more impressive when winning two back, and she pushed Tempted to her limits last start.
It’s an excellent form guide, and given the way she races on the speed, rising from 1400m to 1500m shouldn’t worry her.
She’s a serious win chance with luck from out wide.
(8) Cinsault ($8.50)
Battled back to beat Lazzura last start after being headed in the straight. Race fitness was telling, and she now owns four wins this preparation.
She’s the rock-hard fit runner in the field, so we’re not leaving her out in an extremely even Group 1 contest.
(9) Firestorm ($14.00)
She is a three-time winner at Rosehill, and she made ground last start, but there are too many quality types in this field.
(10) Melody Again ($27.00)
The six-year-old mare has yet to win this prep, and we can’t see that changing.
(11) You Wahng ($101.00)
Better when second last time out, but this is a different kettle of fish, and she’ll likely struggle.
(12) Shohisha ($31.00)
An interesting runner, but we don’t think she’s up to Group 1 level just yet. Prefer to see her in something easier.
(13) Jenni the Fox ($34.00)
Not enjoying a consistent campaign, which makes her tough to follow. Happy to leave her out.
(14) Cilacap ($27.00)
She gets down in the weights at 51kg, but her recent form needs to improve to have a chance.
