Rewrite showed good speed during his first preparation with back-to-back placings, and that form bodes well for this race.
The placings came in New South Wales when running at Hawkesbury and Kembla Grange, and something similar should be enough to win.
Look for a betting push on race day.

Looking to improve on a fresh up placing is Aliquam, who ran third at Sunshine Coast last time out.
The Liam Birchley-trained filly hadn’t shown much prior to that placing, but her trial form since has been solid enough to include her in picks.
It’s not a hard field, and she could capitalise.
Stake: 1 Unit
Spoilt Rotten always runs a good race without winning, and with Angela Jones riding, this could be his time to shine.
The Michael Nolan-trained gelding owns five placings from 10 starts, including last time out at Toowoomba, which should be a good form guide.
Punters should get each-way odds on race day.
Stake: 1 Unit
Boasting three wins and two placings from six starts is Cabaletto, who wasn’t far away when running third last time out at Eagle Farm.
The four-year-old mare by Spirit of Boom has yet to finish outside the placings at Eagle Farm and over the distance, so the stats read well.
The barrier isn’t ideal, but her natural speed takes her close.

Don’tcha Think has been all around the mark this preparation without winning, but that could change on Wednesday.
The six-year-old son of So You Think finished fifth last start, but he was only 2.4 lengths from the winner, so it was a blanket finish.
Getting 2kg off his back could be enough to see him land an overdue win.
Stake: 1 Unit
Immediate is getting close to posting a win this preparation after two placings, and although only fair last time out, a bounce back effort is expected.
The Tony Gollan-trained mare owns a win and seven placings from 11 starts, including two placings at the track.
The stats are there, and we’re happy to include him in picks.
Stake: 1 Unit
Sir Maurice is knocking on the door of a win after three consecutive placings, and punters should get value odds from bookmakers.
The five-year-old son of Maurice is a four-time placegetter over the distance, and it’s about time he won over 1200m.
We’re happy to give him another chance at each-way odds.
Stake: 1 Unit
Williamtheconqueror was too good for them at Doomben last time out, and it was a tough effort.
The four-year-old son of Heroic Valour will need some luck from a wide draw, but expect Boris Thornton to send him forward.
He should be tough to run down if he lands on the speed.
Stake: 1 Unit
