Gosford racing tips

Race 1. (12:45) Taste the Coast Maiden (1200m)

#10 – Miss Jones @ $1.85

Miss Jones has been backed and beaten a few times this campaign, but we’re happy to include her in picks again.

The four-year-old mare by Deep Field owns six placings from nine starts overall, and her maiden win isn’t far away.

Barrier five is ideal, and although the odds are short, they’re worth including in multis.

Stake: 3 Units

Race 3. (13:55) Nationwide Auto Jack’ed Maiden (1100m)

#7 – Hellabella @ $5.00

The Waterhouse/Bott-trained filly ran third on debut at Randwick against tough opposition, so she looks good enough to win in this grade.

The daughter of Hellbent ran behind Pleasure Queen, and she has since looked good when winning a trial at Randwick.

Punters get better odds than expected, so include her in picks.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 4. (14:30) Sneddon Bros Provincial Maiden (1000m)

#7 – Dietrich @ $2.50

Money has come for Dietrich, who placed on debut at Muswellbrook before finishing second at Newcastle.

Both runs came in heavy conditions, so the three-year-old filly isn’t worried by the conditions, and that’s a bonus.

The odds are drifting, but we’re not worried by the drift.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 5. (15:05) Localsearch BM64 (2100m)

#3 – Entitlement @ $4.00

Seeking consecutive wins is Entitlement, who won at Kembla Grange in heavy conditions by four lengths.

It was an impressive victory, and now that the penny has dropped, she is good enough to make her way through the grades.

Barrier two is ideal, and she should control the speed and kick clear.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 6. (15:40) Jet Black Pavements Midway BM68 (1600m)

#1 – Cash Me @ $8.50

Gunning for consecutive wins is Cash Me, who scored last time out at Hawkesbury by a half-length.

The six-year-old son of Pariah is a five-time winner from 20 starts, and although his form prior to winning last start wasn’t good, he’s back to his best.

Getting 2kg off his back helps, so include him in picks.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 7. (16:15) Integbuild BM64 (1200m)

#4 – Mamushka @ $4.20

Mamushka ran fifth last time out, but that followed back-to-back wins to start her career.

The wins at Goulburn and Gosford were solid performances, and the four-year-old daughter of Capitalist gets weight off her back.

After opening at $4.50, her odds have shortened nicely, which is a good sign.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 8. (16:55) Teg Ladies Day 6 November BM64 (1200m)

#4 – The Enchanter @ $8.50

The Enchanter owns a win and three placings from five starts, and he meets an easier field than what he faced at Canterbury last start.

He should get all favours off an inside draw and getting 1.5kg off his back helps. Those factors should be enough to see him figure in the finish.

Punters get $8.50, which is an excellent price from bookmakers.

Stake: 1 Unit
