Superstitious wasn’t too far away when running fourth fresh up at Lismore, and we expect improvement.
The five-year-old son of Snitzel goes best second-up with four starts for a win and a placing, and getting barrier two is ideal.
We suggest taking the $4 before money comes for him.
Stake: 1 Unit
Looking to cap off two third placings with a win is Spot on the Moon, who comes out of a good form race at Tamworth.
The four-year-old son of Odyssey Moon showed a good turn-of-foot to run third, and there has been tidy form out of that maiden race.
Take the odds-on price and include him in multis.
Stake: 3 Units
We’re taking the short odds for Always a Rainbow, who should be too good for this field on Thursday.
The Stirling Osland-trained filly owns two second placings from two starts, with both runs coming at Tamworth.
$1.40 is in the short range, but she’s a good multi bet inclusion.
Stake: 3 Units
Allan Chau lines up Aldeenaary, who could take advantage of a moderate BM58 field.
The eight-year-old son of Awtaad is a four-time winner overall, and after running fifth at Gold Coast last start, he’s nearing a win.
He gets 3kg off his back to help with the big weight.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Looking to rock this field is Joanjett, who has come awfully close to exiting maiden grades after three consecutive placings.
The three-year-old filly by Written Tycoon placed at Ballina, Murwillumbah, and Lismore, which is good form for racing at Grafton.
She will head forward and be tough to run down.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Boasting good form this campaign is Immortality, who won at Ballina fresh up before running second at Murwillumbah.
The six-year-old son of I Am Invincible owns three wins and seven placings from 21 starts, and most of his best form comes over the distance.
Barrier three is ideal, so he’s worth including at the odds.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Jade Trees showed good speed to win at Coffs Harbour last start in heavy conditions, and he could go back-to-back.
The four-year-old son of Alabama Express has experience in Victoria when running second at Warrnambool and fourth at Geelong, so that form bodes well.
We’re happy to include him in picks at the odds.
Stake: 1 Unit
The three-year-old son of Headwater looks to build on three solid efforts this prep, and he’s a top chance to score an overdue win.
He ran fifth at Eagle Farm last start, and although no match for the winner on that occasion, this is a much easier task.
Include him in racing picks at the current odds.
Stake: 1.5 Units
