We have expert betting tips for racing at Happy Valley on Wednesday, which includes nine races at the premier midweek meeting in Hong Kong.

Punters get good value odds for the Hong Kong racing feature, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Happy Valley racing tips

Race 1. (21:40) Forth Road Bridge Handicap (1200m)

#9 – Double Bingo

Double Bingo scored an overdue maiden win last time out, and he’s good enough to keep rising through the grades.

The five-year-old son of Charm Spirit dug deep to score by a nose, and there isn’t much good recent form with this field.

Punters should get each-way odds in the opener.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 2. (22:10) Queensferry Bridge Handicap (1650m)

#7 – Panda Legend

Most of Panda Legend’s best form comes at Sha Tin, but he’s good enough to win at Happy Valley on Wednesday.

The seven-year-old of Astern ran second at Sha Tin last start as a $12 chance, and he will appreciate racing against an easier field.

He has improved with every run this prep, so put him on top.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (22:40) Glenfinnian Viaduct Handicap (1200m)

#5 – Never Settle

Punters should expect another good run from Never Settle, who ran third on debut at Happy Valley.

He was a length behind the winner as a $39 chance, and he will only improve with that run under his belt.

Dropping from 60kg to 57.5kg helps, and it’s good seeing Vincent Ho stick with him.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (23:10) Brig O’Doon Handicap (1200m)

#4 – Everstar

Punters have had to stay patient with Everstar this preparation, but after running fourth last time out at Happy Valley, we’re giving him another chance.

The five-year-old son of Epaulette owns two wins from 19 starts, and he won well at Happy Valley in late April.

Something close to that form will be good enough to handle this class.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (23:40) The St. Andrews Challenge Quaich (1800m)

#2 – Supreme Agility

Supreme Agility showed good speed to win at Sha Tin by a nose last start, and that could kick-start a winning run.

He has yet to show his best form at Happy Valley with three placings from eight starts, but he should enjoy this level of opposition.

Having Zac Purton in the saddle helps his chances of winning.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 6. (00:10) Clyde Arc Handicap (1200m)

#1 – Robot Lucky Star

It has been a good start to the career of Robot Lucky Star, who scored at Sha Tin fresh up before placing at Happy Valley.

The four-year-old son of Hellbent will need luck from a wide draw, but Purton has ridden him in all three career starts.

That should be enough to see him land on the speed and give a good kick.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 7. (00:45) Kylesku Bridge Handicap (1650m)

#4 – Amazing Gaze

We’re going with another Purton ride in Amazing Gaze, who ran second fresh up at Happy Valley before running close when fourth last start.

The four-year-old son of Wrote was only a half-length behind the winner last start, so there was nothing wrong with that run.

Barrier four is ideal, so take the odds.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 8. (01:15) Glen Ogle Viaduct Handicap (1650m)

#12 – Mighty Steed

Looking to turn around a last-start seventh is Mighty Steed, who looked much better when winning in October.

The five-year-old son of Time Test owns two wins and four placings from 17 starts and getting in with 53.5kg only helps his chances.

Punters should get each-way odds on race day.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (01:50) Culloden Bridge Handicap (1200m)

#5 – King Miles

King Miles has had two runs this preparation for a win and a placing, and that consistency could continue Wednesday night.

The five-year-old son of Exceed and Excel owns a win and four second placings at Happy Valley, so he is becoming a course specialist.

He can’t be left out of Hong Kong racing picks.

Stake: 2 Units
