Kembla Grange racing tips

Race 1. (14:55) PFD Food Services Maiden (1600m)

#4 – Walk Like a Man @ $2.00

Kerry Parker lines up Walk Like a Man, who was only a half-length behind Marabello last time out.

The four-year-old needed to show something, and there is much less depth in this field, so he could take advantage on Wednesday.

The $2 odds are warranted, so include him in multis.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 2. (15:30) In Memory of Doug Potter BM64 (2400m)

#7 – Flaming Moon @ $5.00

Flaming Moon turned her form around with a win at Orange, and although it came against easier opposition, it should give her a confidence boost.

The four-year-old mare by Too Darn Hot owns two wins from seven starts overall, and rising to 2400m is right up her alley.

We’re taking the each-way odds from bookmakers.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (16:05) Complete Warehouse Solutions Maiden (1000m)

#1 – Manukau @ $2.45

Manukau looks to cap off four consecutive second placings with a win, and this is her best chance to prevail.

The Michael Freedman-trained mare ran a close second at Warwick Farm, so coming to Kembla Grange only helps her chances to win.

She gets the inside draw, and the $2.45 odds will shorten.

Stake: 3 Units

Race 4. (16:40) Metal Transport Industries C1 (1200m)

#1 – Bondasong @ $2.50

Bondasong has a good chance of remaining unbeaten following an easy debut win at Gosford.

The four-year-old son of Your Song kicked away with a 3.5-length win as a $1.50 chance, so punters get better odds this time around.

He has drifted in the betting, but we’re not concerned, and the late money could come.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 5. (17:15) Master Builders Association Maiden (1300m)

#11 – Sister’s Run @ $10.00

Double-figure odds are available for Sister’s Run, who should have derived benefit from her debut seventh.

The three-year-old filly by Contributer hasn’t been too far away in recent trials, and John Sargent knows how to get them ready for race day.

Carrying 55.5kg is ideal, so include her in picks at the current odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (17:50) Express Smash Repairs BM68 (1300m)

#1 – Inoue @ $5.00

Inoue isn’t the easiest runner to follow, but he’s a nice type when he puts everything together.

The four-year-old son of Shalaa owns three wins and three placings from 13 starts, including a win at Kembla Grange.

We’re happy with the each-way odds from bookmakers, which could shorten to around $4.20 on race day.

Stake: 1 Unit
