Moe racing tips

Race 1. (12:40) Ladbrokes Quick Multi Maiden (1600m)

#10 – She Thinks Ahead

She Thinks Ahead has been steadily improving this preparation, including a second placing at Wodonga last time out.

The John McArdle-trained mare is bred to enjoy this distance, and she owns two placings from three starts over the mile.

Punters should get each-way odds on race day.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 2. (13:15) Ladbrokes Form Genius Maiden (1000m)

#8 – Silk Sonic

Resuming from a spell is Silk Sonic, who ran third at Bendigo behind Carolina Breeze.

The four-year-old mare paid $1.90 on debut, so the expectations were high, and that should see her well-backed for this race.

It could pay to follow any positive betting moves.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 3. (13:50) Ladbrokes Mates Mode Pots Maiden (1200m)

#11 – Tagline

Looking to score a win on debut is Tagline, who looked good when placing in a trial at Caulfield.

The Matt Laurie-trained gelding by Tagaloa is bred to show early speed, and it won’t take much pace to beat this field.

Barrier two is ideal, so he should get every chance to score.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 4. (14:25) Ladbrokes Odds Surge Maiden (2050m)

#6 – Omamori

Omamori wasn’t far away when posting back-to-back placings at Donald and Cranbourne, and that form is good enough to handle this field.

The four-year-old son of Dundeel enjoyed rising in distance last start, so the 2050m looks ideal given his breeding.

He should pay each-way odds, so include him in horse racing picks.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 5. (15:00) Ladbrokes Betting BM64 (2050m)

#3 – Purveyor

The five-year-old son of Merchant Navy owns two wins and six placings from 20 starts, and something close to that form is good enough.

He hasn’t been too far away from the prize at Sandown recently, and coming to Moe shouldn’t do his chances any harm.

Lock in the odds, which should be on the generous side.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (15.40) Ladbrokes SRM in Multis BM64 (2400m)

#1 – Bring Forth

Looking to cap off consecutive second placings is Bring Forth, who broke maiden grades earlier this campaign.

The four-year-old son of Turn Me Loose comes off placings at Sandown and Caulfield, so having form in town bodes well.

The inside draw with 4kg coming off doesn’t hurt his chances.

Stake: 3.5 Units

Race 7. (16.20) Ladbrokes Mates Mode BM64 (1600m)

#2 – Seindeel

Team Freedman lines up Seindeel, who owns two wins and two second placings from eight career starts.

The four-year-old son of Dundeel is bred to enjoy this level of racing, and he only needs a touch of cover from out wide.

He typically pays each-way odds, so include him in picks.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 8. (17.00) Ladbrokes Same Race Multi BM64 (1100m)

#5 – Bossy Star

Bossy Star owns two wins and three placings this preparation, so he’s a consistent runner that’s worth following.

The Laurie-trained gelding has missed a win or placing only twice from 12 starts, including a placing at Moe, so the form checks out.

Barrier two is ideal, and punters should be confident.

Stake: 2 Units
