Moonee Valley racing tips

Audio Pop Cam looked good winning on debut, and although it only came at Pakenham Synthetic, it was a solid victory.
The three-year-old filly won by 1.3 lengths as a favourite, and it’s good to see connections bringing her to town against a strong field.
Betting suggests she’s good enough to handle this race.
Stake: 1 Unit
Jennivamoose showed her potential when scoring a good win at The Valley last time out, and that’s the best form guide for this race.
She chased gamely from off the pace, which isn’t easy to do at the track, and it holds her in good stead against this field.
Carrying 54kg is ideal, so put her clearly on top.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Sabi Storm is looking for consecutive wins after scoring at Sandown, and the three-year-old gelding was strong through the line.
The son of Lord Kanaloa is bred to be a nice type, and he shows good barrier speed, which is always a positive around Moonee Valley.
He could lead and kick clear at the top of the straight.
Stake: 1 Unit
Knocking on the door of a win is Genrichero, who placed at Sandown last time out behind Mr Vivaci.
There is a lot of good exposed form in this field, but the five-year-old owns two placings at The Valley, and having track experience is ideal.
Dropping to 52.5kg makes him a serious winning threat.
Stake: 1 Unit
It pays to follow when Chris Waller brings a horse to Melbourne following a win, and he could be targeted towards some bigger races.
Extremo comes off a heavy-track win at Canterbury, and despite getting back in the run, he hits the line with some serious power.
He could settle back and come with the last run at them, so take the each-way odds.
Stake: 1 Unit
Punters get each-way odds for Rolling Magic, who won well at Rosehill fresh up and coming to Melbourne should be ideal.
The five-year-old son of Per Incanto is seeking drier tracks than the heavy tracks of Sydney, and the improved conditions should help.
55kg on his back, and he’s worth including at the price.
Stake: 1 Unit
Oak Hill is a Valley specialist after posting four wins from five starts, including a blistering win fresh up.
The Hayes-trained gelding owns seven wins from 14 starts overall, and now is the best time to back him, as his third-up and fourth-up form significantly drops off.
Barrier four is ideal, so watch for him to sprint best late.
Stake: 2 Units
We’re taking the value with Running By, who owns two placings from his last three starts, including one at Flemington.
The six-year-old mare by Impending was only a short margin behind Zou Sensation and getting in with 55.5kg could be enough to see her win.
It’s an even field, so getting $6.50 is a good price.
Stake: 1 Unit
Raikoke runs at good odds, and although his recent form hasn’t been his best, he did finish fourth at Flemington last start.
The five-year-old son of Written Tycoon ran fourth behind De Bergerac, and we expect that form to measure up well against this company.
Getting the inside draw could be enough to see him win.
Stake: 1 Unit
