Muswellbrook racing tips

Race 1. (12:50) Tab Maiden (1280m)

#3 – He’sthechief @ $3.30

He’sthechief hasn’t had the easiest start to his career, including losing a rider, but he’s nearing a win after two placings.

The three-year-old son of Supido placed at Dubbo and Tamworth, and he owns a good enough turn-of-foot to beat this field.

Take the $3.30 odds for the favourite.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 2. (13:25) Magic Millions 2YO Handicap (1000m)

#2 – Zocketman @ $2.90

Zocketman comes off two trial wins at Warwick Farm and Canterbury, and we’re surprised that he’s not the favourite to win.

The two-year-old son of Zouzain doesn’t have race experience, but that shouldn’t count against him too much against this field.

Money has come for him early, so he could continue to firm.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 3. (14:05) Godolphin Mile (1000m)

#5 – Northern Exposure @ $5.00

Looking to turn his form around is Northern Exposure, who ran second on debut before disappointing in two subsequent runs.

The three-year-old son of Santos has been primed with a tidy trial effort, and it’s good to see his opening odds of $8 firm into $5.

That’s a good sign, so he’s worth including in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (14:40) Bengalla Cup Maiden (1450m)

#4 – Empress Tsarina @ $3.70

Closing in on a win is Empress Tsarina, who comes off three consecutive placings at Kembla Grange, Hawkesbury, and Newcastle.

There is nothing wrong with that form, and we thought she would be the outright favourite to break maidens on Tuesday.

Include her in selections at $3.70 odds.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 5. (15:15) Arrowfield C3 (1450m)

#5 – Keep at ā€˜Em @ $5.50

Looking for back-to-back wins is Keep at ā€˜Em, who won narrowly at Muswellbrook last month.

The three-year-old son of Impending comes from the Nathan Doyle stable, which is a red-hot stable this season.

Take the each-way odds available from bookmakers.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 6. (15:55) Coolmore BM66 (1280m)

#1 – Superhero @ $2.60

Boasting a win and six placings from 11 starts is Superhero, who ran second at Randwick last time out.

That’s a good form guide for racing at Muswellbrook on a Tuesday, and we’re not surprised by the money coming for him.

Getting the inside draw is another positive for the favourite.

Stake: 3 Units

Race 7. (16:35) Tab Boosted BM58 (1000m)

#3 – Toomuchinformation @ $7.00

Each-way value is with Toomuchinformation, who has enough experience to put this field away.

He owns five wins and 11 placings from 39 starts, including two wins and three placings from 12 starts over the distance.

He comes off a trial placing, so we fancy his chances.

Stake: 1 Unit
