Platinum Ridge looked good when winning fresh up last preparation at Sapphire Coast, and he could produce a similar effort.
The four-year-old son of Headwater has been well-backed to win at $2.70, and he could firm into outright favourite on race day.
He’s a solid multi bet inclusion at the odds.

Looking to score on debut is Ponzi Scheme, who has taken plenty of money since markets opened.
The two-year-old son of Profiteer is a well-named gelding who won a trial at Kembla Grange before placing at the Hawkesbury trials.
The betting support is a good sign, so he goes into calculations.

Punters get value odds for Cuban Rain, who ran well for second at Nowra two starts back, and the track experience is ideal.
The four-year-old mare by Manhattan Rain didn’t follow it up with much at Kembla Grange, but we expect her best form to return at Nowra.
There isn’t much between this field, so the odds are attractive.

Stern Reminder is getting close to posting a win after two placings, including a second placing at Wagga last start.
The Matthew Dale-trained gelding didn’t lose any admirers with that performance, and there has been money for him throughout the week.
It’s a tough maiden field, but he should give punters a good sight.

Shooting for back-to-back wins is Angel City, who broke maidens with a 2.3-length maiden win last time out.
The three-year-old daughter of Harry Angel is bred to win a few races, and she could kick on with it now, as the market suggests.
Her odds have drifted a touch after opening at $2.80, but they could shorten late.

Looking to improve on a debut fifth is Strike a Pose, who ran as a $51 chance at Hawkesbury.
The Ciaron Maher-trained gelding wasn’t far behind some nice types, including Above the Law, and that form should hold up nicely.
The $8 odds are worth including as a value bet.

Missile Leader has improved with every run under his belt this preparation, including a second placing at Goulburn last time out.
The six-year-old son of Smart Missile owns four wins and five placings from 20 starts, and getting 2kg off his back is a bonus.
We’re happy to include him in picks at the odds.
