Rosehill Racing Tips for Saturday, October 11th 2025

We have expert betting tips for racing at Rosehill on Saturday, which includes 10 races at the premier stakes meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the New South Wales meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Rosehill racing tips

Race 1. (12:35) Highway Handicap C3 (1500m)

#2 – Christa @ $5.50

Christa is always around the mark, and she could use her speed to beat the field in the opening race.

The six-year-old mare by Epaulette owns three wins and four placings from eight starts, including a good win earlier this prep.

She’s consistent, and good enough to figure in the finish.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 2. (13:10) Midway BM72 (1400m)

#1 – Alabama State @ $4.80

Alabama State was good in his return at Rosehill when running second behind Meridiana, which should be a good form guide.

The four-year-old son of Alabama Express owns a win and two placings at the track, and he’s paying nice each-way odds for punters.

It’s an even field but include him in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (13:45) Captivant @ Kia Ora BM88 (2000m)

#3 – Pocketing @ $10.00

Pocketing has been disappointing this spring, but we’re giving him one more chance on his talent alone.

The four-year-old son of Grunt is on the quick back-up after running down the track last Saturday, but that came in a harder race.

He hasn’t been fancied in betting, but he could strike at odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (14:20) Canadian Club Roman Consul Stakes (1200m)

#8 – Marhoona @ $2.05

It’s tough to bet against Beadman, but a Golden Slipper winner who wins fresh up is tough to ignore.

Marhoona was too good for a similar field last start, and we thought she might have snuck into The Everest field, but instead, she races here.

Getting in with 54.5kg is ideal, and she could be a Slipper winner who kicks on with it.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 5. (14:55) Schweppes Tapp-Craig (1400m)

#6 – Ohope @ $5.00

Ohope is starting to look like former stablemate Zardozi with every run, and rising from 1200m to 1400m should be right up his alley.

The Michael Freedman-trained colt broke maidens at Hawkesbury fresh up before placing behind Napoleonic last time out at Warwick Farm.

We believe he can measure up here, and he’s a tough type in the making.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 6. (15:35) Drinkwise Gloaming Stakes (1800m)

#14 – Within the Law @ $3.40

Drawing wide won’t help Within the Law, but she’s clearly the best filly in the Gloaming Stakes.

The three-year-old daughter of Lucky Vega ran second behind the brilliant Apocalyptic last start, and that form should hold true.

She should find cover over 1800m, so she goes on top.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 7. (16:10) The Nivision (1200m)

#6 – Gangsta Granny @ $3.10

One of our better bets on the card is Gangsta Granny, who had no luck behind Manaal when being caught wide last start.

Her start prior when placing behind Autumn Glow was excellent, and that form has been franked at Group 1 level.

With 54kg on her back, she will take a power of beating, so expect the $3.10 price to firm.

Stake: 4.5 Units

Race 8. (16:50) Toyota Forklifts Hill Stakes (1900m)

#2 – Lindermann @ $2.35

Class is with Lindermann, and although it’s a tricky betting field, we can’t turn down the $2.35 odds for the favourite.

Chris Waller lines up the Group 1 winner, who comes off a second placing behind Fangirl, where he looked like the winner everywhere but the post.

Barrier 15 isn’t a worry over 1900m, so put him on top.

Stake: 3 Units

Race 9. (17:25) Alan Brown Stakes (1400m)

#12 – Miss Roumbini @ $4.00

Sepals is our top pick for the Toorak Handicap at Caulfield, and with Miss Roumbini finishing second behind her last start, we can’t deny the form.

The five-year-old mare has been a model of consistency with five wins and five placings from 11 starts, and she’s measuring up at good levels.

We suggest taking $4 before late money comes for her.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 10. (18:05) Rosehill Bowling Club BM78 (1100m)

#1 – Amazing Eagle @ $4.80

Each-way odds are with Amazing Eagle, who has yet to finish worse than third from five starts.

He comes off an open class placing behind Street Chase in Doomben, and he has since been primed with two trials wins and two placings.

60kg isn’t easy to carry, but he’s capable over 1100m.

Stake: 1 Unit
