So Suave is a good value bet at $7 after breaking through at Doomben, and coming to Victoria shouldn’t do his chances any harm.
The Chris Waller-trained son of Zed is bred to enjoy longer distances, and he’s clearly good enough to be taken to Melbourne in the search of bigger wins.

Seeking back-to-back wins is Miss Castelvecchio, who relished heavy conditions at Bendigo last time out.

New Sovereign is unbeaten from two fresh up starts, including a win at Geelong last preparation, so we’re backing him to win again.
He owns three wins from seven starts overall, and although he didn’t fire at Flemington last start, dropping in class helps here.
