First race in 19h 32m There have been some big betting moves at Scone, which is usually the case. It’s one of our favourite tracks to bet at, and the well-backed runners could have a good success rate this Friday on the eight-race card. A soft 5 track is expected, and a little give in the track in the spring isn’t a bad thing.
Race 1. (14:10) ISEC C1 (2200m)
#6 - Tasman Deel @ $1.75

Tasman Deel has been threatening to win a race after posting three placings from four starts, and this looks like the time to prevail.
The four-year-old son of Dundeel is bred to be better than average, and although the $1.75 odds are short, he could run at $1.50.
We recommend taking the current price and including him in multis.
Stake: 2 Units
Race 2. (14:45) Coolmore Maiden (1400m)
#7 - Four Inthe Morning @ $1.85

A well-backed first starter is Four Inthe Morning, who comes off an easy trial win at Scone.
That’s a good form guide for this race, and the four-year-old mare by The Autumn Sun looks good enough to make a winning start.
The odds are on the shorter side, but it’s not a strong maiden field.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Race 3. (15:20) TAB Magic Millions Carnival BM82 (1600m)
#2 - Valorous Power @ $3.90

Valorous Power took on tough company last preparation in Sydney and Brisbane, so we’re happy to stick with him.
The well-bred son of Frankel owns two wins and a placing from nine starts, and he just needs a confidence boost to win here.
Aaron Bullock riding is a bonus, so expect a nice effort.
Stake: 1 Unit
Race 4. (16:00) Kia Ora C1 (1300m)
#1 - No No Yes @ $6.50

We’re choosing yes with No No Yes, who ran a good second placing at Illawarra Grange last time out.
The four-year-old son of Zoustar was only a length behind the winner as an $18 chance, so it was a much better run than expected.
Barrier three is ideal, so he’ll get a good run in transit and run well.
Stake: 1 Unit
Race 5. (16:40) Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo Maiden (1000m)
#9 - Tennessee River @ $1.55

Tennessee River is one of the best-backed runners on the card after opening at $2.10, and the money looks well-placed.
The three-year-old filly by Headwater has been prepared with a trial win and placing, so she looks ready to run a good race.
She ran in listed company on debut, and the drop in class could prove telling.
Stake: 2 Units
Race 6. (17:20) Magic Millions Digital Maiden (1200m)
#8 - The Autumn Wind @ $2.05

Another well-backed runner on the card is The Autumn Wind, who opened at $2.60, and his odds have firmed since.
The Scott Singleton-trained gelding looked good when winning a recent trial at Scone, and something close to that should be good enough.
Barrier three is ideal, so expect a top effort.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Race 7. (17:55) Vale Billy Farrow C2 (1000m)
#1 - Mainstay @ $1.60

Mainstay is already running at short odds, but like most unbeaten runners from this stable, his odds will keep firming on race day.
He looked impressive when scoring at skinny odds at Muswellbrook last time out, and punters get better odds this time around.
Barrier two with Aaron Bullock riding is enough to take him close.
Stake: 2 Units
Race 8. (18:30) Arrowfield BM82 (1100m)
#8 - Zampano @ $5.00

Zampano is knocking on the door of a win this preparation after two placings, and he doesn’t need to find much to win.
The five-year-old son of Tassort gets all favours off the inside barrier with a light weight, which is why he’s paying only $5.
He maps well, and he should produce a good effort.
Stake: 1 Unit
