Sha Tin Racing Tips for Sunday, September 21st 2025

We have expert betting tips for racing at Sha Tin on Wednesday, which includes 10 races at the weekend meeting in Hong Kong.

Punters get good value odds for the Hong Kong racing feature, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Sha Tin horse racing tips

Race 1. (15:00) Kowloon Handicap (1800m)

#8 – Mr Aladdin

Mr Aladdin scored placings either side of a spell and having experience this season only adds to his chances of winning.

The six-year-old has yet to win 25 starts, but it’s only a matter of time before he scores the elusive maiden victory.

Barrier four is ideal, so include him in picks.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 2. (15:30) Sam Shing Handicap (1200m)

#1 – Field Marshall

Field Marshall looked good when running third at Sha Tin last time out, and that’s an excellent form guide for this race.

The three-year-old son of Deep Field gets a significant jockey change with Zac Purton riding, and that should see his odds firm on race day.

It’s an open field, but he should go close.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 3. (16:00) Yi O Handicap (1200m)

#1 – Aerovolanic

Looking to replicate his debut win at Sha Tin is Aerovolanic, who pulled up with a problem in his most recent start.

That came in July, and although it wasn’t a good sign, he wouldn’t be starting unless he was fit and ready to fire on Sunday.

Look for a market push as the best betting guide.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (16:30) Ting Kau Handicap (1650m)

#4 – Fashion Legend

Fashion Legend is a two-time winner at Sha Tin, and he has every chance of getting back to winning form to start this season.

The six-year-old son of Deep Field won at Sha Tin in June before running fourth last time out, and something like those is good enough.

Barrier 11 is tricky, but he’s worth backing in an open field.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (17:00) Kau To Shan Handicap (1600m)

#9 – Good Good

Good Good might only be a one-time winner from 19 starts, but he’s fast enough to win fresh up over 1600m.

The five-year-old son of Savabeel was clearly tired at the end of last season, so it was a deserved spell, and he could come back much stronger.

He gets a good draw, and punters should get value odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (17:35) The KPMG 80th Anniversary Cup (1200m)

#3 – Stanley Express

Stanley Express showed good pace when winning on debut at Caulfield before struggling behind Stoli Bolli at The Valley.

He has since been sold to Hong Kong, and if his debut form comes to the table, he should be right in the thick of the action.

If he gets luck from out wide, expect a nice run from the former Aussie.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 7. (18:05) Kowloon Bay Handicap (1400m)

#4 – Beauty Glory

Beauty Glory has enough experience to handle this field, and with three fresh up wins to his name, now is the time to strike.

The Tony Cruz-trained seven-year-old is never too far away from the mark, and although he doesn’t win out of turn, this is his best chance to score.

It’s another good ride for Purton, who could have a big afternoon.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 8. (18:35) Pat Sin Leng Handicap (1650m)

#4 – Mojave Desert

Mojave Desert loves running at Sha Tin with 10 starts for two wins and four placings, so we’re including him in our picks.

The five-year-old son of I Am Invincible has only three wins from 26 starts, but he’s consistent enough to put this field away.

The inside barrier is ideal, so punters should be confident.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 9. (19:10) Yi Tung Shan Handicap (1200m)

#8 – Harmony N Blessed

Harmony N Blessed didn’t let down as expected fresh up, but with Purton riding, punters should expect a much-improved run.

The nine-year-old son of Magnus has a good second-up record and getting in with only 55.5kg on his back is ideal.

If he gets luck from barrier 11, he should be right in the mix.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 10. (19:45) Ma Kong Shan Handicap (1200m)

#3 – Lucky My Way

Gunning for three consecutive wins is Lucky My Way, who won at Sha Tin last time out in June.

The promising son of Proisir didn’t fire on debut in Hong Kong, but his form since has been excellent with two wins and a placing.

There is no reason why he can’t measure up here.

Stake: 2 Units
