Little Iris won well on debut at Canterbury, and although there is more depth to this field, she is good enough to handle it.

Samarelle looked good when breaking maidens on debut at Newcastle before adding placings at Kembla Grange and Randwick.
The three-year-old filly by Savabeel has a Group 3 placing to her name, and she comes off a trial win at Randwick.

Joe Pride lines up Big Red Tequila, who has three wins from seven starts, including a win at Randwick two weeks ago.
The four-year-old mare by Shamus Award paid only $1.40, so punters get much better odds this time around.
The rise in weight shouldn’t make much of an effect over 1100m, so put her on top.

Gunning for back-to-back wins is Lunar Lover, who enjoyed the rise in distance when scoring easily by 2.5 lengths at Kembla Grange.
The five-year-old son of Sea the Moon rises in class, but he drops from 59kg to 54.5kg, which is a big difference over a staying distance.
$5 is a good price from bookmakers, so snap up the value.

Anthracite’s first run for a new stable was disappointing, but the Pride camp expected improvement with a run under his belt.
His form in Adelaide was excellent when scoring three wins and a second placing from four starts, and we’re happy to give him another chance.
