NBA Conference Finals Game 4 Tips

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Minnesota Timberwolves @ Target Center

Betting Tip: Timberwolves +3.5 @ $1.90

The Timberwolves roared back into contention with a one-sided 143-101 win on Sunday afternoon, and we’re backing them to even the series at 2-2.

Home floor means a lot during this Western Conference series, and with the Wolves finally breaking out of their shell, they should take that momentum and carry it over to Game 4. It won’t be easy against a Thunder team looking to bounce back, but that’s where experience comes in.

The Thunder players haven’t been in this situation before. They are a youthful team, so bouncing back from a heavy WCF loss is easier said than done. They are the favourites to take a 3-1 lead, but with the crowd against them, they could struggle to get ahead.

If Minnesota plays with the same aggression as Game 3, with Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle taking it to the rim, they should cover the +3.5 spread and win the game outright. It’s a value line, and the $2.30 for the Wolves to win outright is good shopping with NBA odds.

New York Knicks vs Indiana Pacers @ Gainbridge Fieldhouse

Betting Tip: Knicks +3.5 @ $1.90

Despite going down 0-2 at home, the Knicks showed why they can’t be discounted. They scored a great comeback win on Monday, winning 106-100 despite being 20 points behind during the first half.

It was another great come-from-behind win for the Knicks, who are making a habit of it throughout the playoffs. It also highlighted the troubles the Pacers could face. They didn’t have closer, and Tyrese Haliburton wasn’t coming up clutch this time around.

The Knicks won with Jalen Brunson sitting on the bench for most of the fourth quarter on five fouls. They relied on Karl-Anthony Towns to get them home and he didn’t disappoint. The All-Star showed why he’s one of the best bigs in the NBA, knocking down threes and driving to the rim.

Game 4 is a different beast, but with the Knicks’ confidence levels rising, and the Pacers in danger of doubting themselves, our NBA expert picks have the Knicks winning again as underdogs. They are a better team, and although they looked poor at home, their record away from home is excellent.

Punters get a +3.5 line, which is worth taking as insurance. However, punters should be confident of the Knicks winning outright, so include them in your NBA multis. We fancy a Wolves/Knicks multi, returning $5.13, which is excellent value.
