Magic vs. Cavaliers Predictions

The Magic are going through a tough period at the wrong time of the year, but they haven’t been far off posting a recent win. A close loss to the Lakers hurt, but getting +9.5 points is more than expected against the Cavaliers.

Cleveland’s recent form has improved, but it hasn’t been facing good teams. The Cavs could struggle with the physicality of the Magic, and we’re banking on Orlando getting back to their best on Wednesday afternoon.

Injuries have played their part, but with Paolo Banchero playing, anything is possible for the visitors.

It pays to bet on Banchero when he’s hot, and after scoring 39 points against the Pacers, he’s seeing the ball go through the hoop. He needs to have a big scoring night to keep the Magic close, so take the over 23.5-point line.

Donovan Mitchell returned from a brief rest period with 27 points against the Pelicans. However, he could be limited by Orlando’s defence, so include him to score under 27.5 points.

We don’t rate the Suns this season, and with only one win from their last five games, they’re not playing well. Devin Booker is being asked to do too much, and he’s not equipped to lead a team to success, hence their lack of it recently.

The Nuggets have one of the best NBA rosters, and they should win and cover the –5.5 spread.

Punters get value odds for Nikola Jokic to score over 28.5 points. Our only worry is that he’ll be resting in the fourth quarter if the Nuggets are well ahead, but he’s due a big scoring performance, and it could come on Wednesday.

Jamal Murray can get hot at any given moment, and his last two games are a good example. He scored 31 against Toronto before dropping 22 against the Blazers. If early buckets drop, he can put up 30+ points.
