36ers vs. Kings Predictions

Best Bet
We can’t get Game 1 out of our heads. Sydney scored a 112-68 victory to take a 1-0 lead, and that’s one of the most one-sided games we have seen in the NBL, let alone in the playoffs.
Adelaide didn’t turn up, and we said if the Kings guard Bryce Cotton well, they will win the series. Cotton had only 10 points in Game 1, which isn’t close to being good enough for the MVP, especially when Kendric Davis drops 25 points.
The 36ers are good enough to bounce back at home, but we struggle to find any other positives. The opening game was a demoralising performance, and the Kings now smell blood. We have them winning outright and covering the –4.5 spread, so lock in the odds before they firm on game day.

Same Game Multi
We only narrowly missed cashing with Davis over 26.5 points last week, but he looked good in scoring 25 points. We’re happy to stick with the Sydney guard, who wants to show the Adelaide crowd why he should have been crowned MVP over Cotton.
The most disappointing aspect of Game 1 was Cotton’s listless performance. Scoring only 10 points was a shocker, and although he’s a quality player, he might be limited to around 23 points, as Sydney’s defence locks down when it matters. Include Cotton under 25.5 points in NBL same game multi picks.
If Adelaide plays slightly better, over 189.5 points should cash. Sydney scored 112 points, so it’s not lacking points. Punters should expect a much higher scoring game.

Best Value Bet
Makuach Maluach had 12 points in Game 1, and he is good enough to improve on that number.
He had 23 points against the Wildcats in the semifinal, which showcased his scoring ability in pressure games.
Punters get value odds for Maluach to score 15+ points, and he’s going under the radar.
