United vs. JackJumpers Predictions
—
Best Bet
United and the JackJumpers limped into the playoffs, and although the JackJumpers have had injury problems, we expect a tight game in the qualifier.
They met in January when United won 79-77, which followed a JackJumpers victory, so there isn’t much between them. Therefore, getting a +7.5 start is good for the underdogs, who have a point to prove on Thursday.
United hasn’t looked good over the last few months. They led the NBL for months before struggling with consistency, and they’re going to need Milton Doyle to continue his resurgence to have any chance of covering the spread.
We don’t trust Doyle to perform under pressure, so look for the likes of Tyger Campbell, Josh Bannan, and David Johnson take advantage for the JackJumpers.

Same Game Multi
The JackJumpers would love Bannan to have a big scoring night, and he’s capable. His recent scoring totals are 18, 16, 18, 15, and 17 points, so he’s right on the cusp of having a 20+ night. Punters get $2.35, which is worth including in NBL same game multi picks.
Majok Deng is paying $1.85 to have 6+ rebounds, and considering his recent form, that’s a good price. We predict United missing a lot of shots, and Deng has the height advantage over most of United’s forwards.
Under 174.5 is another good line from the sportsbook. Their last two meetings went for 156 and 159 points, and we predict another low-scoring affair.

Best Value Bet
Bannan is a player who can put the team on his back, and he could score a large chunk of the JackJumpers’ points.
He hasn’t been far off producing a big scoring effort. The JackJumpers have done well to stay in the hunt without Will Magnay, and that’s because Bannan has turned off on the offensive end.
It’s not an easy bet to cash, but $5.10 is worth the risk.
