Dolphins vs. Panthers Predictions

Best Bet

Panthers -7.5 @ $1.91

It’s rare to see the Panthers lose four straight games, especially in an era where they have dominated the NRL. However, with their backs against the wall and desperation starting to sink in, that’s when they should play their best.

They won both meetings against the Dolphins, including a 10-point win in 2023, followed by a two-point victory last year. However, despite the most recent game being close, the Panthers have another gear that the Dolphins don’t possess.

After losing to the likes of the Roosters, Storm, Rabbitohs, and Cowboys, the Panthers know they need a big performance to get back in contention, and leading them is Nathan Cleary, who is the best player in the game. We’re putting our faith in Cleary to get the Panthers a much-needed win, and they should cover the spread.

Same Game Multi

Panthers -7.5, Paul Alamoti Anytime Try Scorer, Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow Anytime Try Scorer, Total Match Points Under 48.5 @ Odds TBC

We are confident with Paul Alamoti and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow scoring tries on Thursday. Alamoti has been the shining light for the Panthers in an otherwise disappointing year, and his strength close to the line makes him an attractive bet.

Tabuai-Fidow has lost some of his speed, but he’s still an excellent try-scoring threat, as he showed last week against the Titans. He broke the game open in the ninth minute, and the odds are worth including in NRL same game multis.

We don’t expect a high-scoring contest, so include under 48.5 points. The Panthers play their best when it’s a low-scoring affair, and our final scoreline prediction is Panthers 24-14, so punters get a generous line from bookies.

Best Value Bet

Mitch Kenny Anytime Try Scorer @ Odds TBC

Mitch Kenny might have only four tries from 112 games in the NRL, but the Panthers forward could crash over close to the line.

He had a linebreak against the Sharks in the opening game of the season, which showcased his speed and power to break through the line. Something similar could happen on Thursday, especially against a Dolphins defence that isn’t always rock solid.

The NRL odds for Kenny to score a try are too good to pass up, so include him in your Dolphins vs. Panthers predictions.
