Dolphins vs. Titans Predictions
—
Best Bet
With the line at only –8.5 for the Dolphins, we can’t leave them out of our NRL picks this week.
The Titans couldn’t have played any worse last week when losing 50-10 to the Sharks, and we don’t see any positive signs out of that game. They are likely in for another long year, and they’re a good wooden spoon hopeful.
The Dolphins didn’t play well in their Round 1 loss to the Rabbitohs, but at least they put 30 points on the board. We knew their defence would need to improve, and it hasn’t, but based on their attack alone, they should be far too good for the Titans.
Gold Coast is 0-13 in its last 13 Sunday games, and if that’s not enough to stay away from the Titans, we’re not sure what is.

Same Game Multi
We had Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Herbie Farnsworth in our multi last week and they didn’t let us down. They both scored a try, and although it came in a losing effort, they did enough for punters to be confident this week.
The Hammer is a a $1.54 chance to score, so the odds are short, but he’s a dynamic scorer. Farnsworth is slightly longer at $1.73, and we rate him as one of the best line breakers in the NRL, so he goes into our picks.
Points come easily for the Dolphins, and the over 56.5-point line is a good multi bet addition.

Best Value Bet
Tabuai-Fidow is an excellent player at following a line break, and he could be on the receiving end of a couple of easy tries.
He looms up in the offensive line, typically after the likes of Farnworth have made a break, and his speed is enough once he’s in clear air.
He loves scoring doubles, so include him in NRL picks this week at $3.05.
