The NRL continues with Round 5 action between the Dragons vs. Cowboys on Saturday, April 4 at 5:30pm at Jubilee Stadium.
The Cowboys are trending in the right direction with consecutive wins, and they could produce three on the bounce this weekend.
Dragons vs. Cowboys Predictions

Best Bet
Itโs good to see the Cowboys start living up to their potential with back-to-back wins, including an epic comeback against the Storm last week.
Beating the Storm was a mammoth effort for the Cowboys, who had beaten the Titans a week earlier. It was a big rise in class, and despite being down early in the game, they battled back to beat one of the best teams in the competition.
They now face one of the worst teams in the Dragons, who have yet to win from four games. After losing 22-14 to the lowly Titans last week, the Dragons have hit rock-bottom, and we canโt see them getting off the bottom of the ladder in Round 5.
The โ2.5 line is worth taking with the Cowboys, who have steadily increased their confidence levels.

Same Game Multi
Murray Taulagi has three tries from his last two games, so weโre backing the form player. He is a $1.65 chance to score against the Dragons, in what should be a high-scoring contest.
Tom Deardon is a $3.30 chance to score a try. He has yet to touch down in 2026, but the Cowboys playmaker is one of the best running halves in the NRL, and he could break through the Dragons defence to score at odds.
Defence plays second fiddle with the Dragons and Cowboys, and although the 49.5-line is in the higher range, our NRL same game multis include the over.

Best Value Bet
Deardon has been happy to play as a passing half this year, but we love it when he runs the ball.
The Queensland playmaker is one of the best running halves in the game, and if he gets clear air on Saturday, he could find a gap in the Dragonsโ defence.
Punters get a healthy $17 for Deardon to score the opening try.
