Dragons vs. Storm Predictions

Best Bet
Based on the Storm’s effortless Round 1 win over the Eels, they’re tough to bet against. Their depth showed up, and the players in key positions all played well.
The 52-4 win over the Eels was a rout, and although the Dragons won’t be as bad, we expect the Storm to win and cover the –8.5 spread. They don’t have a good recent record against the Dragons, losing in 2025 and 2024, but that should be remedied.
They won’t enjoy that statistic, and with the Dragons unable to win in their last five games overall, confidence is hard to come by. They took the Bulldogs close in Las Vegas, but facing the likes of Harry Grant, Jahrome Hughes, and Cameron Munster should be too much for the hosts.

Same Game Multi
Will Warbrick announced on Wednesday that he’s signing with the Warriors for 2027, but in the meantime, he should rack up plenty of tries for the Storm. He has a try in each of his last five games, so include the $1.70 odds.
Sualauvi Fa’alogo is a star in the making. The Storm speedster scored a double against the Eels, and the Dragons’ defence could struggle to contain him, especially in broken play. $1.92 is a fair price, so include him in NRL same game multi picks.
It’s usually a low-scoring game between the Dragons and Storm, and the 46.5-point line is higher than expected.

Best Value Bet
Warbrick is showing why he’s a highly sought after player. The former rugby player has showcased his power close to the line, which often sees him scoring the opening try.
The Storm winger only needs to be on the end of a good pass to score the first try against the Dragons, and his recent try-scoring record reads well.
He’s the $7.50 favourite, and the odds are worth including in NRL selections.
