NRL Round 25 Expert Tips & Predictions 2026

The NRL continues this week for Round 25 action, kicking off with the Storm vs. Panthers on Thursday night.

We have NRL betting tips for every game in 2026, including this week’s featured games between the Dolphins vs. Eels, Rabbitohs vs. Warriors, and Dragons vs. Bulldogs.

Thursday 20/8/26

It has gone a bit pear-shaped for the Panthers, who were cruising to the minor premiership before losing a few games recently.

However, playing a struggling Storm outfit could be a recipe for a bounce back win, and we’re confident enough to include them in our NRL picks.

Melbourne has been a big disappointment, and with nothing to play for, they could struggle to get up for this game.

Friday 21/8/26

The Raiders have kept their slim finals chances alive with a win last week over the Sharks, and they should have an easy time of it against the Broncos.

The Broncos were hammered by the Warriors last week, and losing Reece Walsh to a season-ending injury won’t help their cause.

We’re taking the Raiders -7.5 at home, and they should win comfortably.

Raiders by 14

It’s never easy to know how the Dolphins will perform, especially as double-digit favourites, but we’re backing them to win easily against the Eels.

As they showed last week, the Eels love to score upsets at this stage of the year. However, we don’t see how their defence can cope with the Dolphins.

It could be another one-sided game to start the round.

Saturday 22/8/26

The Sea Eagles have imploded, and although they still have a chance to make the finals, their effort levels are concerning.

They suffered another one-sided loss last week, and with the Knights putting everything together, they’re going to be tough to beat.

Playing at home is ideal, and although the line is higher than we wanted, we’re backing the Knights.

Knights by 10

It could be a tricky game for the Warriors, who are a much better team than the Rabbitohs, but they lost another player to injury last week.

Not having a halves pairing won’t help, but they have done well with their backs against the wall all season, and it’s a next man up mentality for the Kiwis.

The -3.5 line is worth including in NRL picks this week, as it could move to -4.5.

Warriors by 6

We’re going with another favourite and backing the Bulldogs to rebound from a costly loss to the Rabbitohs last week.

They didn’t play well, and although the Dragons have been winning games recently, the Bulldogs should have too much class for the wooden spoon contenders.

The -5.5 line is worth taking before money comes for the favourites.

Sunday 23/8/26

It’s tough to find an upset danger this week, but given the way the Sharks are playing recently, winning easily on the road could prove too tough.

They have hit a speed bump at the wrong time of the year, and with the Titans playing spoilers, they shouldn’t be overlooked this week.

The +6.5 line is good enough to include in NRL predictions.

Sharks by 1

Despite being 14th on the NRL ladder, we think the Tigers are playing worse than any other team.

They have given up the ghost, and that’s not a good sign when coming up against the new premiership leaders, who are riding a long winning streak.

It should be the most one-sided game of the week.
