Panthers vs. Eels Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Eels always play well against the Panthers, and although they will be tired from State of Origin, that goes for both teams.
Getting a +4.5 line for the Eels is good value from bookmakers, especially coming off consecutive wins over the Knights and Sea Eagles. Their win against the Sea Eagles last week came without Mitch Moses, so that was a fine effort.
The Panthers aren’t playing good rugby league, especially after drawing with the Cowboys and losing heavily to the Knights last week. That’s not good enough form from the four-time champions, and the Eels could capitalise.
There is some value with the Eels head-to-head at $2.39, but we’re taking the +4.5 line as security. The line could firm to around +3.5 on game day, so jump on the line before it potentially moves.

Same Game Multi
Two players who are due a try are Josh Addo-Carr and Brian To’o. Addo-Carr hasn’t scored in his last three games, but he scored a double in consecutive games prior to that. If he’s anywhere near his best, he should be crossing the line for a four pointer.
To’o looked great for the Blues at State of Origin, scoring a try, and that form could carry over to the Panthers on Sunday. He is a prolific try scorer at all levels, so the $1.82 odds are worth including in NRL same game multi predictions.
We’re also including over 45.5 points in what could be a try-fest. They combined for 70 points in their 2024 meeting, and although we can’t expect a similar score this time around, they should combine for more than 45.5 points.

Best Value Bet
There is little between these teams, and arguably, the Eels have played better for most of 2025.
With the Panthers dwindling in 17th spot on the NRL ladder, most expect them to start playing well. However, this team isn’t playing nearly as well as previous seasons, and the Eels could capitalise from the outset.
$3.30 is an excellent price, so include it as a value bet.
