Panthers vs. Knights Predictions

Best Bet

Knights +8.5 @ $1.90

We originally liked the Panthers to cover the spread, but if the Knights are ever going to play well, it’s this week. They don’t have Kayln Ponga, who is seemingly their only player interested in trying every week, but the Panthers have been decimated.

On State of Origin duty are Brian To’o, Dylan Edwards, Isaah Yeo, Isaiah Papali’i, Liam Martin, and Nathan Cleary. That’s a lot of players to have missing, and it’s not like the Panthers have been playing well. They had a draw against the Cowboys, and they have just three wins from 10 games.

That alone should allow the Knights to keep it close, and although they are combusting from within the camp, this is there chance to salvage something.

Same Game Multi

Knights +8.5, James Schiller Anytime Try Scorer, Paul Alamoti Anytime Try Scorer, Under 44.5 @ $15.00

James Schiller owns three tries from his last five game, and although the Knights haven’t been putting points on the board, he is their shining light in the try scoring department. Punters get $2.35 for Schiller to score a try, which is worth including in multis.

We have backed Paul Alamoti many times this year, and although he hasn’t performed at a high level, he could capitalise on having half his team missing. He is best backed to score at $1.72, and the Panthers need him to perform on the wing.

Under 44.5 is a fair line from bookmakers. With the Knights struggle to score points, it should be a close game. They scored 36 points in their last meeting in 2024, where the Panthers won 22-14, and it should be a similar contest.

Best Value Bet

Knights Halftime Lead @ $2.60

The Knights have every chance to lead at halftime at value odds of $2.60. They have a team good enough to test the Panthers, and they could lead at halftime and hold on gamely.

We would have been happy to take around $2.20, so include Knights halftime lead as the best value bet of this game.
