We have NRL predictions for the Rabbitohs vs. Broncos on Friday May 9 at 8pm.
The Rabbitohs look to bounce back after four consecutive losses, but that could prove difficult against a Broncos team licking their wounds after a home loss during Magic Round.

Rabbitohs vs. Broncos Predictions
—
Best Bet
After losing to the Panthers 32-8 in front of a packed crowd at Suncorp Stadium last week, the best way for Brisbane to bounce back is with a big win over the hapless Rabbitohs.
One of the more inconsistent teams in the NRL, the Broncos can easily turn on the jets and win this game by 30+ points, and that’s why we’re backing them to cover the –10.5 spread. They won 42-18 over the Bulldogs, who top the table, so that shows how good they can be.
The Rabbitohs have lost four in a row, scoring just 36 points. They were blanked by the Bulldogs before scoring just one try against the Knights, and they have been hit hard by injuries. That doesn’t help, and it won’t help in Round 10 against a Broncos team keen to get back in the top four.
Same Game Multi
The Broncos have a 26-14-1 advantage over the Rabbitohs, and the last two meetings totaled 34 and 46 points. Therefore, we’re taking the Broncos –10.5 and under 48.5 in our same game multi picks.
We are confident of the under because of how poor the Rabbitohs attack has been. They are struggling to score points without Cody Walker in the halves, and although the Broncos should score plenty of points, it could be a one-sided effort.
Despite Jesse Arthars and Selwyn Cobbo not scoring last week, this is a different situation. The Panthers defence made it tough for them to score, as did the conditions, but we can’t turn down the odds. Arthars is a $1.53 chance to score his sixth try from his last six games, and Cobbo is $1.93 to score.
Cobbo hasn’t been at his best, but this could be a breakout performance for the fullback.
Best Value Bet
Cobbo has been doing good work bringing the ball out of the defensive end, but we want to see him scoring tries for the Broncos.
He’s a lethal threat close to the line, and although he scored more tries as a winger compared to a fullback, he should want to get himself in the action early on Friday.
We fancy him to set the tone early and score first, and the double-figure odds appeal.
