Raiders vs. Rabbitohs Predictions
—
Best Bet
Covering a –6.5 spread isn’t easy against the Rabbitohs, but if there’s a team playing with confidence, it’s the Raiders.
They won three games on the bounce against the Titans, Warriors, and Roosters, which aren’t easy games to win. It shows their playoff credentials, and the Rabbitohs didn’t look overly impressive when losing to the Warriors last week.
The Raiders are 2-0 against the Rabbits in their last two meetings, including 32-12 win at home last year. That’s a good form guide, and the Raiders are a better team in 2025. Therefore, although we wish the line was –5.5, we’re happy to back the Raiders to cover the spread.

Same Game Multi
We expect a high scoring contest between teams that can pile on the points. They scored a combined 56 points last week, and although we need the Rabbitohs to keep pace on Sunday, we believe they’ll score around 20 points and lose by 10 points.
Looking to score a try in his fourth consecutive game is Hudson Young. Punters continue to get value odds for the New South Wales representative, who has come alive in 2025 with his try-scoring abilities. It’s good to see, so take the $2.10 odds and include him in NRL same game multis.
We’re also including Alex Johnson, who made a big impact with three tries against the Warriors last week. He is typically a good bet to score at least one try, and $1.80 is a much better price than we expected with the latest NRL odds. Include him in picks to boost odds.

Best Value Bet
Despite scoring a try last week against the Roosters, there is no love in betting markets for Jamal Fogarty to score a try.
The halfback is good enough to snipe his own try, and although he prefers to set others up with a four pointer, he can break open the defence and cross for a try.
The odds were juicy last week, so we’re not missing out this time around.
