The NRL continues with Round 2 action between the Roosters vs. Rabbitohs on Friday, March 13 at 8:00pm at Allianz Stadium.
We love a rivalry game, and it doesn’t get much better than the Roosters vs. Rabbitohs, where the Chooks are slight $1.88 favourites.

Roosters vs. Rabbitohs Predictions
—
Best Bet
We expect big bets to come for the Rabbitohs, who have already firmed throughout the week. They were one of the most impressive teams last week when scoring a win against the Dolphins.
They dominated much of the game, and although the winning margin got trimmed in the second half, they never looked like being beaten. It was a quality opening win, and the hype around the Rabbitohs looks well-placed.
Conversely, the Roosters didn’t look good when losing heavily to the Warriors in Auckland. The offence looked clunky, and although that will improve with time, we see the Rabbitohs imposing their physicality on the Roosters.
Take the $1.96 odds before they firm into favouritism on game day.

Same Game Multi
Alex Johnston is a try-scoring machine, and he kicked off his campaign with a try against the Dolphins. The Rabbitohs winger will get every chance to finish off a backline move, which is why he’s the $1.52 favourite to score.
Latrell Mitchell was back to his brilliant best with a double last week. It had been some time between drinks for the enigmatic player, but now that he’s confident again, he could become of the elite try scorers in the NRL. Punters get $2.30 for Mitchell to score, which is an excellent price.
The Rabbitohs put 40 points on the Roosters last week, and with the Roosters allowing 42 against the Warriors, we have included over 45.5 points in our NRL same game multi picks.

Best Value Bet
We have lost count of how many times Johnson has scored the first try for the Rabbitohs, so there is no reason to leave him out of NRL picks this week.
The Rabbitohs tend to work it through the forwards before spreading it wide, and he’s arguably the best finisher in the game. His knack for finding the try line is incredible, and he’s breaking all sorts of try-scoring records.
Look for Johnston to cap off a great backline move and get the Rabbits on the board first.
