Best Bet
Even though it looks like the stars have aligned for Brisbane after two impressive comeback wins, repeating that against a professional outfit in the Storm could prove difficult, which is why we’re picking the Storm to win.
Brisbane looked out of sorts in the first half against the Panthers before knuckling down and completing the comeback. However, being down by double digits against Melbourne is a recipe for disaster, and with the senior players on hand for the Storm, we’re making the more logical bet for the Grand Final.
It’s tough to look past a team including Cameron Munster, Harry Grant, Jahrome Hughes, and Ryan Papenhuyzen. They are the elite spine in the NRL, and although Brisbane has a good team as well, the premiership-winning experience could prove the difference.
We expect the Storm’s class to be too much for Brisbane, who could play flat after the high emotions of the last two weeks. The final margin could be unflattering to the underdogs, with the Storm winning 26-12.

Same Game Multi
We love backing Xavier Coates and Will Warbrick to score tries. Coates could have a field day on the wing against much shorter defenders, and all it takes is for a pin-point kick to the corner for him to score.
He’s the best aerial threat in the NRL, and we would be surprised if he didn’t make an impact in the try-scoring department. Punters get $1.88, which is worth including in NRL Grand Final SGM picks.
We also like Warbrick, who is a powerful runner. The former rugby union player has shown off his strength, and he looked good when scoring a try against the Sharks. $2.15 to score a try is a good price, so include him in picks.
Under 40.5 points should also cash for punters. Grand finals can be tough defensive efforts, and we can’t see the Broncos putting too many points on the board.

Best Value Bet
There is every chance of the Storm blowing out the Broncos. They scored an easy win over the Sharks, and with the Broncos playing poorly in first halves, the Storm could set up a big lead.
They’re not the kind of team that lets the opposition back in the game, so if they get up 10-0 early, it could be a one-sided game throughout.
It’s not the game fans will want, but with coach Craig Bellamy arguably the best in the business, the Storm would justify their pre-season favouritism with a massive NRL Grand Final win.
