Storm vs. Broncos Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Storm have been impressive in scoring wins over the Eels and Dragons, but the Broncos should be focused and tough to beat on Friday night.
The Broncos won the competition last year, and that hangover has extended to Round 3. They have looked relatively terrible in losing to the Panthers and Eels, but after slacking off last week, they should have got a stern talking to from the coach.
That should be enough to see them improve and cover the spread against the Storm. They won the Grand Final against the Storm in October, which should give them enough confidence to repeat that effort.
A close game is expected, so the +7.5 line is generous with NRL odds.

Same Game Multi
Reece Walsh’s defence last week was terrible, but he made up with it with two tries. He’s a dynamic try scorer, and if he’s anywhere near his best, he should score a try at odds of $1.91.
Kotoni Staggs pays $2.60 with NRL odds, which is much better than expected. He comes off a try-scoring double against the Eels, and it should be a high-scoring game, so we’re backing Staggs to get it done for punters.
Over 49.5 is worth including in NRL same game multi picks. They combined for 48 points in the Grand Final, and this should be more of an open contest.

Best Value Bet
Staggs is an explosive player close to the line, and if he gets a clean pass from his inside, he should score against the Storm.
The Broncos need players like Staggs to find their feet, and after scoring twice against the Eels, his confidence levels should have risen.
He has four tries from his last four games, so the $2.60 odds are worth including as an NRL value bet this week.
